    Aether theory
    Impetus theory
    Illness caused by bad odours
    Flat earth theory
    Four humors of the human body theory
    Four elements theory

    The Holocaust, and whether it happened
    Slavery, and whether it happened
    Childbirth: the stork or using your naughty bits

    Those who blather now about creationism and “teaching the controversy” are the people who argued for phrenology and “social darwinism” in the past. No surprise, really.
