Teach the Controversy

And if you do, I’m bloody well going back to high school. It would be awesome.

This was the next item in my RSS after this post. No controversy: he exists. http://dogs.icanhascheezburger.com/2012/04/30/funny-dog-pictures-dr-who/

    'Tis Himself

Everyone knows Dr. Who is fiction. It’s not like LOTR.

Woah, imagine the possibilities, I could get a doctorate in Doctor Who!

Reminds me of a similar thought that I’ve had:

Teach the controversy about Jesus mythicism.

    Geocentrism
    Phrenology
    Aether theory
    Impetus theory
    Illness caused by bad odours
    Flat earth theory
Four humors of the human body theory
    Four elements theory

The Holocaust, and whether it happened
    Slavery, and whether it happened
Childbirth: the stork or using your naughty bits

Those who blather now about creationism and “teaching the controversy” are the people who argued for phrenology and “social darwinism” in the past. No surprise, really.
