Republicans continue their utterly shameless campaign to make voting as difficult as possible for anyone who isn’t likely to vote for them. In Ohio, they’re trying to pass a bill that would punish schools that help students register and vote at the university rather than where they come from. Read more

The latest example of Republican voter suppression may be the worst bill yet. The North Carolina Senate now has a bill that would make it far more difficult for college students to vote in a number of ways, while also reducing early voting days and hours. Read more

Florida has convicted two former employees of Strategic Allied Consulting, one of the many sockpuppet companies owned by Nathan Sproul, the Republican voter registration guru who has gotten in all kinds of hot water around the country, for voter registration fraud. Read more
