Morgan Brittany Hits the Ground Running

Morgan Brittany, the Worldnetdaily’s latest washed-up has-been celebrity columnist, has learned her craft quickly. Specifically, she’s learned the art of telling a ridiculous lie to support a paranoid conspiracy theory, this one about the IRS controlling our health care decisions.

One can only hope that this monstrosity falls apart. It seems to be doing just that with the seams splitting and the edges beginning to shred. Hopefully, it will just collapse on its own and we will be rid of it. We as Americans better hope that happens, because what is coming our way is not pretty.

If Obamacare survives, we are looking at undoubtedly the most corrupt department in our government taking control of our health care and ultimately our lives. The IRS being in charge of our health decisions should send a chill up everyone’s spine. We need to pray that Reps. Darrell Issa, Trey Gowdy, Jason Chaffetz and James Jordan continue chipping away at the lies, deception and cover-ups over the IRS targeting of conservative groups. They need to dig in and keep this subject front and center until the American people see that the IRS has absolutely no credibility. Of all the scandals permeating this administration the IRS targeting is by far the most dangerous.

The IRS “being in charge of our health decisions” might well be a very bad thing, but in this country on this planet in this universe that isn’t even remotely factual. The IRS has nothing to do with the Affordable Care Act other than enforcing the tax penalty for refusing to get health insurance. Your doctor doesn’t have to call the IRS to discuss treatment options, for fuck’s sake. In fact, the ACA leaves exactly the same people in charge of things: the insurance companies.

This lie has been repeated on the right for four years now but that repetition has not brought it a millimeter closer to being true. And Morgan Brittany has quickly learned the path to being a successful wingnut pundit — keep repeating the lie, no matter how many times it’s debunked.

I thought that we didn’t want the refugee children from Central America because Obama was giving them Obamacare. If the IRS is running Obamacare then all those kids will have to pay taxes shrinking the deficit.

The irony is that it is the corrupt for-profit health insurance industry controlling our healthcare

And, with that lineup, it pretty much would take a miracle.

    Doesn’t he? Doesn’t he?!!!

Ah hah! So you admit Obamacare is bad!! Checkmate, Ed Bratyon!

Take a half an internet out of petty cash.

If it wasn’t for the fact that (from recent personal knowledge) that is truer than funny, you could have the other half an internet!

“other than enforcing the tax penalty for refusing to get health insurance”

As I understand it, it doesn’t even have that much practical power to enforce. Isn’t it limited to grabbing your refund if you don’t???

So much so, I had to look her up. Yeah, not missing much there.

    @Myself,
Although there is one thing on her resume that I am interested in checking out, from wiki:

In film, Brittany starred in the cult classic Sundown: The Vampire in Retreat with David Carradine, John Ireland and Bruce Campbell.

With Bruce Campbell… I’m surprised I am unaware of this flick.

I’m sure at least one WND reader will denounce her for not realising it’s the BATFE that’s the most corrupt part of the US government. Of course neither will stop to consider that it might be porkbarrel central, the Defense Department.
