According to Laura Ingraham, Obama is using the Malaysian airliner getting shot down as a distraction from the child refugee problem, which I’m pretty sure was a distraction from the IRS scandal, which was a distraction from Benghazi. Oh dear, I think I’m distracted now.
Conservative pundit Laura Ingraham on Monday lamented that the media has not been focused enough on her pet issue, the crisis at the southern border.
“So there’s an attempt to switch the narrative. The NBC (sic) didn’t do one story on the border crisis in the first hour of the ‘Today Is Trending’ show — that’s what I’m going to call it,” she said on the “Laura Ingraham Show.”
Ingraham added that the Sunday shows gave little attention to the border crisis over the weekend, and instead covered the Malaysian plane shot down over eastern Ukraine…
She then asked the audience if President Obama was behind the recent narrative shift.
“Do you believe there is an ongoing attempt to divert attention in the American media and by the Obama administration away from our own domestic crisis here in favor of just swamping the narrative with only foreign policy stories?” Ingraham asked.
Gosh, it’s almost like we live in a complex world where more than one problem can exist at the same time and doesn’t fit the simplistic narrative that the right wing wants to push at any given time. How about that. I think they’re trying to distract attention away from the fact that they have almost nothing of substance to offer.
