Hagee: Obamacare Paving Way for Mark of the Beast

Matthew Hagee, John’s even dumber son, answered a viewer’s question about how Obamacare is going to lead to the mark of the beast, a one-world government and, of course, everything they bizarrely think is going to happen in the “end times.”

    See what happens when birth control isn’t cheap and easy to access?

    Oh, I adore how he differentiates between “taking us towards [the end times]” – which the ACA doesn’t do – but “allows that.” Because they’re all enthusiastic about anything that will bring about the end times, but then, they don’t really like the things that actually happen to people in the end times. What mental gymnastics!

    This is the real mark of the beast.

    $ $ $

    It’s owned the Hagees for decades.

    It’s easy big money. They’ve become very wealthy by god babbling. And will never stop as long as the dollars roll in.

    They’ll be rather surprised when The Beast comes along and does none of that stuff. “Hey, dumbasses, I can read! I read all that stuff in the New Testament years ago and came up with another plan, instead of that old one God figured out.”

    Is that really his face, or did they set up a ventriloquist’s dummy in front of the camera?

    @9 — definitely the SSN.

    There are thousands of web sites devoted to this. Sometimes, you just have to shake your head.

    @8: There’s nothing wrong with a one-world-government, as long as it’s some sort of fundie Christian caliphate.

  8. Eldon McMullen says

    I think it depends on who’s one world government it is. I’m quite sure most of these problems will go away as the planet heats up and so many people starve and drown or are killed trying to get a piece of the remaining pie. I’m 77 and have seen a lot of things go down. yet every day there are very happy things that happen to the people around me. So at least our part of the world is still a good place to live. Mac

    I never get why these guys are always hollering about things that will bring on the End Times. Aren’t the End Times going to happen at some point? Aren’t they ordained by their interpretation of the Bible? Doesn’t their all powerful God want the End Times to happen?

    @14 I think the point is to add some urgency. There are going to be plenty of people in any religion who believe they should donate more, pray more etc but assume they have time to do so later. Scare them into thinking there won’t be a later and devotions and donations should go up.

    I cannot imagine a universal omnipotent and omniscient deity wanting to spend eternity with these beanbags. But I don’t want them to start sinning because I don’t want to spend eternity in Hell with them either.
