Brody Loves Rand Paul in Jeans

David Brody, the fake “journalist” for the Christian Broadcasting Network, really likes the look of Rand Paul in blue jeans. I mean really likes it. So much so that I’m wondering if perhaps he wrote this column, about how blue jeans are the key to Paul winning the Republican presidential nomination, with one hand.

You see, Rand Paul likes to wear jeans. While other politicians are wearing a suit and tie, Paul is different. At the recent CPAC event, all the other politicians went with the traditional look. Not Paul. Jeans were in order…

Paul’s choice of leg attire represents something. Whether the senator from Kentucky knows it or not, it’s his calling card to say he’s unique, different, and a trendsetter within the Republican Party. His libertarian “genes” are represented in those blue jeans…

Do you get the picture? Rand Paul is different than every other Republican who may run for president. Heck, one of his favorite musical artists is Indie-Pop singer Aimee Allen. That’s the way Rand Paul rolls. Sunglasses, jeans, and Indie-Pop.

So when he wears those blue jeans, it neatly fits in with his persona. After all, his libertarian “genes” fit perfectly inside those blue jeans…

And Rand Paul is going to do his best to walk that new path…in a pair of blue jeans that could take him into straight into The White House.

I think Brody may need a cold shower.

And that, folks, is what passes for serious discussion of what it takes to be the “Leader of the Free World” and the Commander in Chief of the most powerful military the world has ever seen.

No wonder the rest of the world is afraid of us!

Rand Paul is hip and cool and knows what the kids these days are in to, like pushing back against the Security State his own party (and most of the other one) is for, gutting regulations, and being against the Civil Rights Act. He’s, like, not square, daddy-o. Skibbity beebop!

I’m curious, is he actually talking admiringly about the guy’s testicles, or does he just not pay attention to how his words sound?

Would he get arrested if his Libertarian “genes” didn’t fit inside his blue jeans anymore?

This is probably the most long-winded and awkward way to say, “I admire this man’s bulge” that I have ever seen.

I wonder if Paul gets spam mail for Libertarian “gene” enlargement kits.

I wonder if the right wingers who freak out when Obama is being “unPresidential” without a coat and tie will say the same about Rand.

Sure they will. All he has to do is switch parties and, boom, they’ll be all over him like a thing that’s all over another, different, thing.
You see, this isn’t a partisan issue. It can’t be. It only effects Democrats. So, really, if you think about it, the Right pretending to be mad at everything Democrats do is really the fault of Democrats for being so partisan.

Wait a minute. Aren’t the right wing screaming that Obama is too casual when he doesn’t wear a tie, or when he has his jacket off? But Rand Paul…he wears jeans, and this is what it takes to be leader of the free world. I wish these folks could have just a little bit of consistency. They make my head hurt.

    “Tight Fittin’ Jeans”

He tried to hide it by the faded denim clothes he wore
But I knew he’d never been inside a bar before
And I felt like a peasant who just had met a king
And he knew I saw right through his tight fittin’ jeans

Brody to forgot to mention the toupee.

tsig @ 10: I so desperately wanted to link Family Guy’s Conway Twitty skit, but youtube has decided the only version available is an incredibly shitty phone recording of a tv with family guy on it. So you’re safe. For now…

Yeah, because everyone knows that wearing jeans is so unique and trend-setting. I mean, NOBODY wears jeans these days. When was the last time you saw anyone wearing jeans? Gosh, I should throw out my kilt and start wearing jeans so I can look unique!
