Bigot: Google’s Rainbow is ‘Homo-Fascism’

Deranged bigot Peter LaBarbera publishes a letter from “ex-gay” (read: self-loathing gay person who has internalized his own oppression) Dean Bailey, who is quite upset that Google used rainbow colors for an Olympic theme last week. This apparently is “homo-fascism.”

An Open Letter to Google Inc:

I noticed late yesterday that you are once again showing your normal, homo-fascist attitude by shoving a pro-homosexual image in the face of everyone who uses your search engine. You accompanied the image with this quote:

“The practice of sport is a human right. Every individual must have the possibility of practicing sport, without discrimination of any kind and in the Olympic spirit, which requires mutual understanding with a spirit of friendship, solidarity and fair play.” –Olympic Charter

Just one problem with your gay-pandering manipulations, Google… Russian law does not prohibit homosexuals from participating in the Olympic sporting events. They are there! It simply prevents them from propagating their lies and blatant immorality to the public, and more specifically, to children citizens of Russia.

You, Google, on the other hand, violate the very quotation you posted there, each and every time you discriminate against the Christian viewpoint of hope that offers people freedom from homosexual sin and behaviors. There is absolutely no “mutual understanding” from you, or from the homosexual activists that you pander to in that regard… NONE WHATSOEVER!

There ARE people in America and in this broken world of ours who DO experience UNWANTED homosexual issues and behaviors. And there ARE people, like me, who have permanently changed this sexually addictive behavior! But Google Inc., and the homosexual activists you one-sidedly pander to, refuse to even acknowledge that FACT.

The hypocrisy is blatant and unhidden. Homosexual activists managed to get the sodomy laws removed from the penal codes of every single state by using an argument that is paraphrased as such: “The sexual relations that take place between two consenting adults, behind closed bedroom doors, should remain a private matter wherein the government has no right to intrude.” And then they turn around and openly, publicly flaunt their sexuality, nudity, and every kind of immoral behavior imaginable at every major “pride event” they hold!

They shove their buzz words of “tolerance” and “homophobia” in our faces, and yet they are allowed to maintain a double-standard of becoming some of the most vehemently intolerant and faith-phobic people on earth, toward anyone and everyone who dares to disagree with their manipulations and blatant lies, even using internet media-supported character assassinations to demoralize any person or entity who dares to stand on the integrity of common sense in their disagreement with them.

They say they want “equality” and the “freedom to choose” whom they “love.” But then they turn around and sponsor laws (California and New Jersey) to restrict and outlaw the God-given, human right of self-determination for those of us who would seek out psychological help, counseling, and programs to pursue the change of OUR sexual behavior that WE DESIRE, and which is CLEARLY PROVEN TO BE POSSIBLE!

You have jumped on board with the most recent “make myself feel good” trend of speaking out against human sex-trafficking, but then you turn a blind eye to the fact that 24% (UNODC elaboration of national data) of those trafficked are young men and boys… Males exploited into homosexual prostitution! Why are these statistics never mentioned? Why is homosexuality given a free ride and NEVER called to account?

What are they so afraid of? What are YOU so afraid of, Google? The truth, obviously! And so you, Google Inc, pander to their lies, manipulations, and blatant hypocrisy. YOU are just as GUILTY as they are.

Dean Bailey

Imagine being so deluded that merely seeing rainbow colors is “homo-fascist” because it’s “shoving a pro-homosexual image in the face of everyone.” Hey, you could always try Bing. Oh wait, that’s owned by Microsoft and they’re pro-equality too.

If Yahweh hated gays then rainbows would have disappeared from the sky years ago.

More of the same theme espoused by Tood Starnes and others anti-gay bigots. Anything that reminds them that gays exist is “homo-fascism” and, of course, is shoving it in their faces and down their throats*.

*They really do like that imagery, don’t they?

When it rains and a rainbow appears in the sky, to whom does this sociopath write his angry email?

I bet the bastard doesn’t go out when the Sun breaks through rain clouds, just in case…

And again, saying that other people cannot be gay because my religion forbids it is like saying other people cannot eat donuts because I am on a diet.

Um, Google uses four of the five olympic ring colors, almost certainly by coincidence rather than design. But be that as it may, the olympic five ring symbol is from 1912. The rainbow flag-as-gay-symbol was invented int he 1970s. Unless he thinks those evil gays have a time travel device, it’s pretty much impossible for the influence diagram to go rainbow flag -> olympic rings -> google.

A more relevant question would be: hey google, if your color choice is at all related to the olypmics, what’s up with no black?

Curious that even someone so heavily immersed in the ex gay movement, claims to have changed the behaviour, not attraction.

You know where fundies are supposed to believe rainbows come from.

Genesis 9:13I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.

What do you have against God’s covenant Mr LaBarbera?

The Olympic rings are in several colors. Are they then shoving a gay agenda down the throats of god-loving Christians? And is the Olympic logo banned from Russia? Probably not.

tl;dr How dare you openly disagree with my bigotry? That’s discrimination!

Well that could be because such a link isn’t even mentioned in the cited report. In fact it’s more likely they are trafficked for labour, or even if they are part of sex trafficking it’s to straight men who are on ‘the down low’ – men like you. .

God famously put a giant rainbow in the sky as a sign for Noah after the flood. I guess that makes God the original homo-fascists?

Perhaps the good Lord flooded the world because it was too homophobic….

I can at least see the argument as it extends to the so-called “ex-gay” issue. If we take as a given that so-called “reparative therapy” is safe and effective (which is something this poor guy clearly believes), then the laws recently passed restricting its usage would indeed be a form of authoritarianism, of unnecessary and harmful government intrusion. Granted, it’s still a bit of a stretch to tie Google’s gesture to those specific laws, but I can see why (if we grant that premise) someone would be a little pissy about LGBT issues.

Of course, the bigger problem with that argument is the premise being totally flawed.. because, you know, “reparative therapy” happens to be both dangerous and ineffective…. But my point is, it’s not so much a logic fail as it is an evidence fail. He’s pissed about a law that he sees as controlling and prejudicial. And, if the thing the law were outlawing really were just a “personal choice”, as he believes (as opposed to a dangerous practice that is often forced upon young people, and even on adults via outside pressure, etc.), then he might be right. Which he’s not, but, you know…

I always thought that the government had to be involved to make fascism work. Did Google get elected president and no one told me?
As a non-believer I hated having Tim Tebow’s religious displays shoved down me throat. Or was it shoved up my ass. I was so drunk that night…

Neither the California nor the New Jersey laws “outlaw” so-called reparative therapy freely chosen by adults. They ban forcing children (the very fact that parents are forcing them to undergo the “therapy” shows that the the children are not exercising self-determination) into a “therapy” that the psyciatric community as a whole deems to be ineffective and harmful. This is no different than the state requiring children with curable cancers to undergo chemotherapy rather than or at least in addition to “faith healing.”

Private corporation using a multicoloured logo = fascism, apparently. Words have no meaning any more.

Also, if you click the link in the OP, you will see the cover of a book written by our esteemed ‘ex-gay’. A cover containing a painting with a guy’s dick showing. If I were him, I would have chosen one of the billion other religious painting out there.

I am not gay, I am “ex-hetero”. Yeah, it sounds dumb whether ex-gay or ex-hetero……

Their idea of ‘hope and freedom’ sounds a lot like that other thing that’s the complete opposite.

It sounds to me as though this guy’s “repairative” “therapy” is weak if all it takes to get him all upset and mad is some rainbow colored icons of sports. If he was more certain that his therapy was working, then the Google doodle would not cause such a knot in his jock strap.

Children are citizens in Russia? They can vote?

Is that how Putin…? (No, best not derail the thread.)

Caption on the rainbow image from the Americansfortruth site (emphasis added):

Google creates pro-”gay” image as part of its radical commitment to promoting the homosexual activist agenda. Here the Google home page copies the homosexualist “rainbow flag” colors to indict Russia, which passed a law prohibiting homosexual propaganda toward minors. Click to enlarge.

But not even Peter LaBarbara knows how deeply the “rainbow rot” has thrust itself into America’s once-unsullied culture. My sources* have discovered the secret origin of this “rainbow plague.” It’s all down to the woman who calls herself Yoyomax12. Beneath that homey exterior lies a satanic heart — as this insidious recipe clearly reveals.

    *I used Google.

Incidentally, here you can find the doodle in question, under Feb 7th 2014.
I would never in a million years have looked at that and thought “gay.” In fact the first thing to spring to my mind was “goddammit, why did they ignore indigo in their obviously ROYGBIV color scheme? As a culture, we seem to have completely lost that as a separate color.”

If we were to combine the homo-fascists with the islamo-fascists, would they cancel each other out? Or would they result in some sort of hyper-fascism, one with a really fabulous head scarf?

Just change «gay» and «homosexual» to «black» and «inter-racial», forget Google, and you have a copy of the hatred in Love vs Virginia. Same shit different day…
