Garrow Didn’t Like the SOTU Address

Deranged wingnut Jim Garrow really didn’t like the State of the Union speech. I mean really, really didn’t like it. So much so that he delivered this bizarre, incoherent batch of mixed metaphors on his Facebook page. It involves rabid dogs, meteors and Satan himself.

The Speech:

“The Boy Who Cried Wolf” is at it again. Perhaps a real wolf will eat him so we don’t have to listen to the lies. Rabid dogs are put down for the protection of the innocent and to prevent the spread of disease.

Our “loyal opposition” can’t even yell “You lie” without offering an apology later and backing down from speaking the truth. Ted Cruz and Rand Paul made their usual attempt at truth telling but like the Scripture tells us “A prophet is without honor in his own land”, and they will be ignored unless it is to hold them up to ridicule on the morning talk shows.

In the meantime the meteor of doom continues on its course with the mad man Obama laughing derisively at the “colonialist empire” he is wreaking havoc on and bringing down. The great Satan allowed its guard to slip and a quisling agent to penetrate. His work of devastation is not done and he has spread his manure of deceit across the land again.

The lonely voices of those not addled into submission to the lies find themselves Alinskied at every turn, browbeaten into conformity, or forced to disappear into obscurity for their audacity in declaring the Emperor to be unclothed, and bare faced in his lies.

Obama is revolting in his prevarication, and our response should be to revolt – period.

Okay, Jim. You first. March right up to the gates of the White House with a gun and start the revolution. I’ll pop the popcorn and watch on TV.

He is right. It’s like you people didn’t even notice Obama was escorted in, and protected by, a cadre of aggressive, flying monkeys*. He even said that he was “going to get your little dog, too”. Wake up, people! You’re not in Kansas anymore!

    * Thanks, Obamacare!

You gotta love the phrase: “he has spread his manure of deceit across the land again”

And is “faced” the word he is looking for here: “declaring the Emperor to be unclothed, and bare faced in his lies.”

I’m just thinking “bare-assed” would go better with the unclothed “Emperor” trope.

And John of Patmos looks up from the book of Revelation, and says “dude, you need to ease off on those shrooms”.

Of course, that idiot Joe Wilson was wrong, and Obama was not lying (well, not at that particular moment, anyway). But heaven forfend that Joe have to apologize for being wrong. And an asshole.

I would say that until he offers evidence that Obama ordered a nuclear attack against a US city, Garrow doesn’t deserve any coverage.

“meteor of doom”? I thought it was supposed to be the Platypus of Doom — closely followed by the Aardvark of Despair.

And shouldn’t Spiny Norman be in there somewhere?

  7. caseloweraz says

But I have to say I admire Jim Garrow’s ability to mix metaphors. It makes me want to take a thinly veiled swipe at the sacred cows entrenched in naval circles.

I thought Garrow was a Canadian from Guelph. Why should I care what he thinks about the SOTU from the President? Do I attempt to interfere with Canadian politics? If he’s so concerned, why doesn’t he emigrate?

  9. Numenaster says

I’m still waiting for Garrow to be ” Alinskied at every turn, browbeaten into conformity, or forced to disappear into obscurity “. It must be just around the corner, right?

  10. jnorris says

I find Mr Garrow ‘s not posting Mr Obama’s SOTU lies and citations for The Truth very unconvincing.

Has he swallowed a dictionary? The whole thing reads like he is so impressed at knowing all these big words or phrases he completely forgot about making any kind of sense..

with the mad man Obama laughing derisively at the “colonialist empire” he is wreaking havoc on and bringing down.

Is he implying that the US has a colonist empire and it should be maintained?

cause didn’t you guys have a revolution about that kinda thing?

  13. haitied says

I’m a carpenter and I’ve seen some doors off their hinges before, but this guy is a few potatoes short of a salad. If only the great comet of perception would see fit to fall from the sky and have brunch with him we’d all live in a giant sausage world.

Hmm. . . It’s actually kind of fun guys!

  14. dcsohl says

Why is “colonialist empire” in quotes, even? Obama didn’t use that phrase in the SotU, so what is Garrow quoting?
