America: Home of the Devil

Michael Bresciani is moving up in the world. Usually he writes for the Christian Post but now he’s got a spot at the Worldnetdaily to spout inane nonsense about how America has been taken over by Satan because of gays and atheists (and especially gay atheists, I imagine).

For months, the heart of all news reporting has centered on Obamacare and the lies the president told about whether people could keep their doctors and health-care plans. Is this really the problem, or is it only a symptom of a much more serious and pervasive problem?

With the LGBT, atheists and the godless of this generation throwing themselves against God, Christians, positive traditional values and using the law to turn the nation upside down, why has it not been seen as a clue to the real problem?

Before discussing the modern onslaught of demons in America, it does well to remember that the god of this world (Satan) has long pulled the wool over the eyes of the perverted and polluted. The long predicted “day of evil” is approaching at breakneck speed, but the stage was set long before today – to wit…

It is only when we stop seeing statements like this as alliterative, allegorical or metaphorical that we realize that the entire world is already in the hands of God’s enemies and the trial period is on. Is it the world or the Kingdom of God? The choice was once laid on Christ, but now it is laid upon us all.

When nations fall, it is because they are making the wrong choices. The wrong moral and spiritual choices wreak far more havoc than bad choices in politics or economics. This is the promise of scripture. The Obamacare wreck is far from our worst problem, but the Obamic view of morality is proto-typical of all that is wrong with America today.

No, what’s wrong with America today is that we have far too many people who believe in spooks and specters and demons. And they vote, in huge numbers.

Well he is right but not in the way he means.

The Roman empire converted to xianity and look what happened to them. They were overrun by hordes of Germanic barbarians. Who were xians themselves.

The Obamacare wreck is far from our worst problem,…

God hates the ACA and doesn’t want a few million poor people to have access to health care? Who knew and when?

And why? I missed reading that in the bible. Besciani’s god is just a sockpuppet who hates what he hates.

Before discussing the modern onslaught of demons in America,…

Demons are very in these days, at least among the Oogedy Boogedy set. The Elves, Fairies, Orcs, Brownies, and Bigfoot are all ticked off.

If Satan is the god of this world isn’t he exactly who residents of this world should worship?

Why worship a god who rules elsewhere.

My apologies to all for this derail, and raven in particular for the triggering thought…

When I saw raven’s first quoted line, what ran through my mind one a line from Oscar Brand’s song about the DC-3:

“While nations fall and men retire and jets get obsolete, the Goony Bird flies on and on at 11,000 feet.”

To salvage *something* from this…perhaps it is the DC-3 that will save us all.

Actually, it is New Jersey that is the home of the Devils.

(And they have the advantage of being real.)

Is Gnosticism mainstream christianity now?!?! Princeps hiuis mundi yet. The next step, Mr Bresciani, is now to give up meat and sexual congress in all forms in order to divorce yourself from this tainted physical world….

  6. busterggi says

No Dalillama, Gnosticism has nothing to do with mainstream Christianity – its a search for knowledge which is the opposite of mainstream Christianity.

Dalillama, Schmott Guy “The next step, Mr Bresciani, is now to give up meat and sexual congress in all forms in order to divorce yourself from this tainted physical world….”
I got elected to Sexual Congress. It’s not as fun as it sounds. It’s mostly old white men and wheezing.

If he complains we’re all against using the law to turn the nation upside down, does that mean he’s for it?

I thought we were a christian nation.

Well Bresciani does have a point. Gods, devils what’s the difference anyway.

Laugh while you can. Ours may be imaginary, but at least they’re not sick.

    So many band names…
    MSoD (Modern Onslaught of Demons),
    Perverted and Polluted,
    Day of Evil,
    Havoc…

I was in a band in high school we called Cry Havoc (as in let loose the dogs of war). Animals that we were, we played a really mean riff on Louie, Louie. Had a little trouble with songs that had more than 3 chords, however. Surprisingly, no record company ever tried to sign us. The name is available if anybody wants it.

Yup, Maria Island is the new home of the healthy devil.
America? The devil was never there.
