Klayman Expands His Goals

Larry Klayman, the dumbest lawyer in America not named Mat Staver or Orly Taitz, envisions himself leading a crusade into the White House to demand Obama’s resignation on Nov. 19, has expanded his targest. Now he wants Harry Reid and John Boehner to resign too.

We the People must act now. Sitting back and living off the past riches of the country until the bank runs dry is a formula for disaster. Our Founding Fathers would not have sat on the deck of the Titanic as it sank, and we cannot either – that is if we are serious about maintaining and preserving our freedoms not just for ourselves but future generations.

So I call on all conservative, liberal and other groups, and all concerned and patriotic Americans to gather in Washington, D.C., on Nov. 19, 2013, and to demand the resignations of Obama, Reid and Boehner. If they do not go, we should be prepared to keep up the pressure until the will of the people is done and our nation is preserved.

For we cannot allow these establishment hacks to destroy the nation, as the forces of evil, lead by the mullahs in Tehran with their nuclear ambitions and threats, build up to also destroy us from without.

What amuses me about this is how Klayman has convinced himself that the “will of the people” is on his side. The truth, of course, is that Klayman is a fringe figure at best and only a small minority of paranoid wingnuts agree with him. And I can’t wait for him to show up at the White House on Nov. 19 with a handful of yokels to demand Obama’s resignation. It’s gonna be a great show.

Your blockquote doesn’t include the seventh paragraph of the column, where Klayman actually threatens/promises violence if he doesn’t get his way in this matter.

I wonder what Klayman thinks the founding fathers would have done if they’d been on the Titanic as it sank? Demand that the captain resign? Hold a citizen’s jury trial?

Both pointless and ineffective, but then, that’s Klayman’s forte.

Like most authoritarians, because he is convinced he’s right (on very little evidence!) he assumes almost everyone, including liberals, agree with him.

Just one more delusion on the pile.

This can be read as approval of America’s destruction by “the mullahs in Tehran.”

By the way: If I had to guess, I’d locate the mullahs in the holy city of Qom. Also, what’s up with so few of these ranters knowing that the past tense of lead is “led”?

My wife made a good point. What would the Founding Fathers have done on the Titanic? “Founding Fathers UNITE! [patriotic music and laser beamed super powers erupt about the ship]”

I think these people think along those lines, though.

“If George Washington were on the Titanic, he would have lifted the ship from the waters with the sheer power of prayer, and killed a young Hitler with the anchor before delivering the ship to the chosen ones at the Cruz residence and declaring, ‘Though shall found the Tea Party, that thou may save the nation from the evils of affordable health care and well fed working poor.’”

Chances are some of the Founding Fathers would have sat on the deck of the Titanic as it sank to allow women and children to take their places in the lifeboats. Others would probably have decided they were too important to die and forced their way into the first boats lowered.

Actually what he thinks the founding fathers would have done is take the lifeboats and prevent any steerage and second class passengers taking a spot even if their was space.

If I were Boehner, I’d quit as Speaker of the House and tell the R’s that, until the Tea Partiers come to their senses, the party caucus is ungovernable. I’d also sign the discharge petition to try to salvage at least a bit of R reputation out of this mess.

demand the resignations of Obama, Reid and Boehner.

So we have President Biden, potentially a more capable Democratic Senate majority leader, and a new House Majority leader? What would that change exactly?

How about a larger group of sane people meet Klayman and The Klan at the White House and demand Larry’s resignation? We could convene a citizen’s jury to indict him for… I dunno, something just as stupid as what he charged Obama for.
