What Glenn Beck Thinks of Romney Now

Glenn Beck declared on his radio show recently that if Mitt Romney had been elected president, he might also be looking at military action in Syria (and given that all his advisers were neo-cons, he’s probably right), “because, in the end, we all found out that he was the progressive.” Now contrast that with what he was saying during the election last year:

During the campaign, Beck spent every day telling his audience that Romney’s performance was divine providence, that his victory was going to be a massive mandate and a work of God and that Romney was a modern-day George Washington and Abraham Lincoln

If that is true, then why was Beck so enthralled with him during the election? Just where was Beck’s self-proclaimed “gift” for being able to look into someone eyes and see their heart or his vaunted ability to see down the road and predict what will be coming our way?

Beck says Romney revealed himself to be a “progressive” during the final presidential debate, which took place on October 22. Yet two days after that, Beck was comparing Romney to George Washington on his radio broadcast.

Because he’s full of shit and just spouts off without even a moment’s thought for intellectual consistency.

To be fair GW was a bit of a progressive for his time.

…“because, in the end, we all found out that he was the progressive.”

Well, Obama certainly isn’t the progressive. I guess that leaves Romney then!

Weird. Romney wouldn’t be there because he’s progressive (also, he’s not progressive). He’d be there because for NeoCons, like Afghanistan to Iraq before it, Syria is the fastest route to Iran.

Of course Romney is a progressive. What kind of decent mormon only has -one- wife?

Wait. Beck only has one wife.

PROGRESSIVE COMMINAZI! THE CALLS ARE COMING FROM INSIDE THE HOUSE!

But the Mittster, hisself, declared he was “severely conservative” in the spitting image of Washington and Lincoln. In calling him a progressive, either Beck is lying or Romney was. I know, hard to believe, but there it is.

You always say that, but the mess is always there when I look again. I grant you, if those charges didn’t stick so damn well, it would be easier to clean up.

@5 Larry, I find your overuse of the words ‘either’ and ‘or’ egregious. I have corrected your statement, as seen below.

“In calling him a progressive, either Beck is lying, or Romney was.”
