Wingnut on Wingnut Crime: Wiles vs Jones

In a battle of crazy conspiracy theorists who think everything is an Illuminati plot, far right — I mean really far right — radio show host Rick Wiles is attacking Alex Jones for helping promote a rally of armed gun owners marching on Washington, DC scheduled for July 4.

Trunews radio host Rick Wiles today denounced the upcoming Open Carry March on Washington scheduled for July 4, 2013. The march is organized by Adam Kokesh. Participants are urged to carry loaded firearms to Washington and walk across the Memorial Bridge in a show of defiance against demands by the Obama Administration to the Congress to pass stricter gun control laws…

“This call for citizens to march with loaded firearms across the Memorial Bridge is highly irresponsible and dangerous,” said Wiles. “No responsible citizen should participate in an event that has a high risk of ending in a violent shootout with federal law enforcement officers. This proposed march borders on being an incitement to instigate an armed mob.”

Mr. Wiles also strongly criticized radio host Alex Jones for giving Adam Kokesh credibility and publicity by interviewing him on his daily radio program to promote the march. “Nobody would know about this insane idea of marching with loaded firearms had Alex Jones not talked about it on his radio program,” said Wiles. He said Mr. Jones is walking a fine line by not officially endorsing the armed march, but giving the event publicity on his show, and by telling his radio listeners who attend the march to take lots of photographs of the police.

“I call upon Alex Jones to publicly denounce Adam Kokesh’s call for citizens to carry loaded firearms into Washington D.C. in July,” said Wiles. “Alex Jones must unequivocally declare on his radio program that he does not support the armed march, nor does he recommend that any of his listeners attend the armed march,” said Mr. Wiles. “Furthermore, he should cease glorifying Mr. Kodesh as an oppressed political prisoner which is only further inflaming people to support this crazy idea.”

Wiles is clearly part of the Illuminati conspiracy to bring about a (probably reptilian) new world order. All of his unhinged rants about that same conspiracy are cleverly designed to divert attention from that fact. Damn, that’s clever. I wish I’d thought of that.

Peaceful (if uncomfortable) protest of what the government’s doing (or plans on thinking about forming a committee to possibly investigate maybe taking some form of action on)? Walking?
Sure sounds like some wavy gravy, ChiCom, dirty hippie stuff to me.

Alex Jones gives credibility now? What next “No one would take this seriously if David Icke wasn’t involved”

It is interesting to me that the people participating in this march think that the State will be the least bit impressed by their “demonstration’ as they march fully strapped with their puny little semi-automatic, small caliber pea-shooters. It is their fellow citizens that fear these small weapons, the State thinks it’s kind of cute. It might be instructive if the State were to display a small part of the truly gob-smacking amount of destructive technology that they have to command. Kokesh thinks this is a ‘show of force’? It is absolutely ridiculous. These idiots don’t realize that everything they do in this regard only strengthens and empowers the State.

I always loved the whole” The government fears an armed populous” meme. It ranks up there with” Three of liberty must be watered with the blood…so on and so forth” I often think “What about the shrub of the pursuit of happiness ? Who will edge the lawn of freedom with the line-trimmer of justice?”
What the” gubbermint” really fears is an aware and educated populous.

marcus, you’re right in that the whole march would become a very diffefent kind of demonstration if the bridge were rigged with a handful of claymore mines. Of course, for a march in a DC-area July I’m thinking that they’re going to be lucky to get fifty marchers.

And as far as being met by armed police, if I thought they were actually going to get actual numbers of marchers I’d be afraid of them being met by a counterdemonstration composed of the mothers of children killed by gun violence. The reason I’d be afraid is that the nutcases in the march just might start “defending” themselves and their precious rights against an unarmed group of women.

An aware and educated populous what?

An aware and educated populous …who would vote their worthless bloated corrupt asses out of office.

    Nick Gotts @ 6,

What spike13 meant to say was ‘populace’.

Kokesh is probably dreaming of the day when his private army will get the chance to overthrow the Government.

He’ll get a surprise when the big money boys move in and say, “Thanks for your help, but now your army must be disarmed. Shit you’ve already overthrown one Government, we sure as hell ain’t gonna let you overthrow ours.”

Thanks…didn’t notice the typo….(damn my public school education…)

DCSessions @ 5 You are correct of course. That is why I chose the word ‘display” rather than ‘demonstrate’, no use blowing up the Washington monument just to impress a bunch of dickheads. My thought experiment had the marchers filing through rows of tanks while “black’ helicopters and drones flitted by overhead with a periodic fly-over by F-17s just to give them a little perspective of the silliness of the whole “we need our guns to defend us from the gubmint” meme. But not seriously.

“no use blowing up the Washington monument just to impress a bunch of dickheads.”

Why are we bringing Roland Emmerich into this?

  13. marcus:

@12 Because he would blow it up good! Real good!!11!!!

Yes that’s why they are more than welcome to go right ahead. I’ll be sitting here on my couch with the popcorn at the ready. Actually I wont be sitting on the couch but instead having a good time BBQing and enjoying the day, there could be some couch sitting at some time throughout the day though.

I love the crocodile tears of old, irrelevant Republicans blithering about how they didn’t mean for it to get this bad. Even thought they deliberately set the groundwrok for today’s Ted Cruz and Glen Beck Brownshirt Party.
