Lipkin: Muslims Taking Over National Parks

Of all the right wing nutjobs making idiotic conspiracy claims about Obama, Avi Lipkin is clearly the most ridiculous. This is the guy who has claimed for the last couple years that Obama is going to import 50-100 million Muslims to the US to take over the country. So where are they going to go? To our national parks and forests:

They go to the country where the President is a Muslim of a Christian country; that’s Obama, that’s the US. You’ve heard of Agenda 21 right? Agenda 21 means the US government can confiscate national parks, national forests, resources, big farms. The King Ranch in Texas is the size of Rhode Island; you could confiscate that ranch and put in 5 million Muslims there. I drive all the time through Texas and Oklahoma, the whole place is full of beautiful forests and mountains and lakes and there are very few people living there. America is empty, Canada is empty, Brazil is empty, Mexico has room, Europe has room. You’re going to have tens of millions of Muslims abandoning the Middle East — which is being turned into complete desolation by these civil wars — and the ultimate goal is to have a Muslim majority in America. Obama said in one of his speeches that America is the greatest Muslim country on earth, he’s a prophet because that’s what his purpose is…

They bring in say about 50,000 people in one shot in that forest. I heard about this in Virginia, I heard about this in New York, on the border between North and South Carolina, I heard about this in Texas. I go a lot through the Ozarks, I go through Missouri and Arkansas, there is a lot of beautiful pristine country which is completely empty. If you want to bring to the United States 50 million immigrants, you cannot bring them into the cities, you cannot overburden the infrastructure of the cities, cities cannot cope with that, so you build completely new infrastructures in forests, in places where you can plan this, this is being planned.

I love how the evidence he offers in support of this is that he drives around the country and sees a lot of empty land and forests. How compelling.

…US government can confiscate national parks, national forests, resources…

Maybe I’m mising something, but why should the US government need to confiscate what it already owns?

This is so ridiculous! Muslims don’t live in forests.
On the other hand there is a lot of empty desert land in the southwest…

    What? The? FUCK??
Not the Texas and Oklahoma I’ve lived in the majority of my life! The last clause has a little truth in it, I will grant, but “beautiful forests and mountains??” And “full of?” Lipkin may be full of sumthin’, but it isn’t beautiful…..

Ah, but you see, here is where our presuppositions come in. You have one world view — he has another. People with different world views can look at the exact same evidence and draw different conclusions. The conclusions are equally well supported for both sides. Could be one, could be the other, situation is even. So it all comes down to world views. No possible common ground to stand on to see which side is right.

Only God knows who is correct. And are you on God’s side? Thought so….

I was skeptical, nay, incredulous about this claim. But damn if you didn’t deliver. Still, I do have one candidate that may give Lipkin a run for the title, Sorcha Faal a.k.a David Booth , who claims to have uncovered a plot to kill gun rights activists across the US. He claims that Obama has used the TSA to form 800 death squads, codenamed VIPER. This is of course why the TSA has purchased so much ammo. They’ve already assassinated two people secretly, but will soon start operating openly to intimidate the citizenry into falling in line with Obama’s nefarious agenda.

And so it begins. (Cue ominous music)

You know, for the last 30 years, the French far rght has claimed that

    1. The “socialo-communist” (that’s how they name anyone who’s not a fascist) are “importing half a million muslim immigrants per year

    2. The first thing these immigrants once they arrive is breed, and they are breeding so fast, according to our wingnuts, that any batch of half a million newcommers will double its size within a very few years

Well, in 30 years, France’s population has grown from 54 millions to 66 millions.
Now, if the wingnuts had been right, there would be well over 80 million people living is France today and when someone points it out, they jump into full fledged conspiracy rant about “official” statistics lying about the population growth. Yet no new shanty towns have mushroomed, the density in urban center tends to decrease, and the only part of the urban landscape noticeably increasing in size has been the low density residential suburbia… where the far-right voters have been migrating en masse specifically to avoid the immigrants living in the city centers. Nonetheless, despite the fact that it is a blantantly obvious lie, the french wingnuts keep repeating with a straight face that there are tens of millions unaccounted hidden Muslims waiting to rise and establish a french caliphate

Five million Muslims in the King Ranch would produce a local population density of around 4,000 per square mile, three times that of NJ and roughly 2/3 of Hong Kong’s. I think someone might notice….

Silly coragyps, it’s obvious that he’s talking about the grand 1000-feet-above-sea-level mountains of southeastern Oklahoma (which includes all those state parks besieged by Muslims, like Clayton Lake State Park and Heavener Runestone State Park) . You know, that area of state and national parks; that area which takes up less than 10% of the state. THOSE are the mountains he’s talking about. As for the forested mountains of Texas, I’m sure he’s talking about Davis Mountains State Park in southwestern Texas, the only place that is public parkland in Texas with mountains and trees (well, shrubby stuff that could be called trees).

And this all makes sense, because to get from Davis Mts St. Pk. in Texas to Heavener Runestone St. Pk.in Oklahoma, you literally have to drive through almost the entire diagonal length of Texas and – because of a lack of roads through the state parks – through about a quarter of the length of Oklahoma.

See?!? It makes perfect sense! /snark

The first Muslims to go to Oklahoma should be maybe 5 million Bangladeshis that have been flooded out by global warming. They should be settling in the James Inhofe Memorial Resettlement facilities.

  24. 24
    dugglebogey

    Wait.

So the fear here is that a large group of people will move into a region, and prevent people from practicing anything but their religion.

So their solution is to, while they are still the largest group in the region, try to stop people in that region from practicing other religions?

That’s the goal here? I don’t understand how these people can exist without the hypocrisy eating them alive.

I’m sure you’re just snarking, but this is a pet peeve of mine….

The most populous Muslim country is Indonesia; add in half the Philippines, Chechnya, Ingushetia, Azerbaijan, etc., a lot of Turkey and Kurdistan, Bosnia, The Kossovo…I’m pretty sure a solid majority of Muslims live in terrain that couldn’t be called desert…hell, rain forests, a lot of them!

25 years ago Lipkin would have been pushing the idea that millions of Soviet and/or Chinese troops were secretly being brought in by the UN, and were hiding in some US wilderness area or another, or perhaps on the Canadian Prairies and/or in Mexico instead. You still see the occasional crank who goes on about the supposed 200 million man army the Chinese could field. They seem to think such people are supermen who can live for extended periods without any sort of shelter and survive on rations that wouldn’t feed a Chihuahua.

You’ve heard of Agenda 21 right? Agenda 21 means the US government can confiscate national parks, national forests, resources, big farms.

Curious, because most of the time you hear that Agenda 21 is a U.N. takeover of the national parks.Having the US government take it back should be a good thing.

Anyway, the national parks were taken over by Communists a long time ago. I was there in Yellowstone during the 90′s, when the concessioners imported planeloads of Poles, Czechs, Russians, etc., to clean rooms and serve meals for 60 hours/week. I can’t even count* how many good, crisp, American $100 bills I was forced to hand over to those commie kids, all enjoying the benefits of American overtime laws, and all with the full knowledge and permission of the Park Service. The ol’ US of A just ain’t been the same ever since.

5 Million Muslims in an area the size of Rhode Island (3140 Km², ignoring the fact that 13.9% of RI is covered in water). That’s 1592.3567 persons per Km².

    For comparison (persons per Km²)

    Australia: 3 (30/09/2012 Official est.)
    Canada: 4 (Official estimate Jan 2013 )
New Zealand: 17 (Official Population Clock, 9/05/2013)
    Brazil: 23 (/07/2012 Official est.)
USA: 34 (Official Population Clock, 09/05/2013)

Malta: 1321 (20/11/2010. Prelim results census)
    Bahrain: 1628 (27/04/2010. Census)
Vatican City: 1818 (Official 2012 est.)
    Gibraltar: 4250 (Official 2011 est.)
Hong Kong: 6516 (31/12/2012 Official est.)
    Singapore: 7546 (1/07/2012 Official est.)
    Monaco: 17676 (3/07/2008. Census)
    Macau: 20069 (31/12/2012 Official est)

I’m sure those Muslims dumped into the woods without any kind of infrastructure, food resources, health resources and so on would do just fine!! They’d blend right in and no-one would notice.

Dan – don’t you know that Obama has secret mind-control powers (and a time machine). He’ll just ‘convince’ the authorities in Canada, Brazil and Europe (72 persons per Km².) to import Muslims licky-split (or go back in time and deposit them there in the late 15th century or sumptin’).
    We’re talking Reich-wing ‘logic’ here.

    This all sounds depressingly familiar.
‘Populate or Perish’ (whites only need apply, naturally) was the cry of Australia’s right-wing especially during the Second World War (based on the fear that those nasty Japs, and later Indonesians or Chinese would invade to get more farming land) . despite the fact that about 3/4 of the continent is arid or semi-arid.
They seem to think that all land is equally fertile and hospitable for humans (you can bet they wouldn’t be giving up their nice homes/farms near the coast though).
    Idiocy is for ever…

There’s a lovely moment in Peter Weir’s Gallipoli (1981) where our heroes are crossing Central Australia to join up on the East Coast. They come across a camel-driver who is surprised to find them in the middle of nowhere. They tell him ‘don’t you know we’re at war with Germany? They’re invading France right now and if we don’t stop them there, they could end up here.’. The camel driver looks slowly from one flat desert horizon to the other and says rather scornfully, ‘and they’re welcome to it!’
