Klayman Goes Full Alex Jones

Larry Klayman just gets loopier and loopier. In his latest column, he claims that the Boston Marathon bombings happened because Obama gave a “green light” to Muslim terrorists to attack the country. Oh, and the refinery explosion in Texas is also Muslim terrorism. His evidence? Wait till you hear this:

Nor was there hardly any mention on any station or other press entity of even the possibility that Muslim terror was involved in the huge explosion that occurred in West, Texas, where a fertilizer plant blew up Wednesday, just days after the Boston Marathon bombing. Typically, here is how the New York Times described the explosion:

“The blast was so powerful that the United States Geological Survey registered it as a 2.1 magnitude earthquake. It reduced an apartment complex to a charred skeleton, leveled homes in a five-block radius and burned with such intensity that railroad tracks were fused. It killed up to 15 people and injured up to 180. Volunteer firefighters were missing. Residents of a nursing home were pulled from debris and rushed to hospitals. …

“By Thursday evening, one day after a fertilizer plant here caught fire and then exploded, no one among the hundreds of local state and federal officials and first responders who converged on this town north of Waco was certain about the cause. They only knew its effect.” ["Blast at Plant Tears at Heart Of Texas Town" by Manny Fernandez and John Schwartz]

This intentionally “clueless” rendition of the likely cause of the blast continues to this day, despite the hard fact that fertilizer bombs are commonly used in the Middle East, were employed in the massive Oklahoma City federal building explosion – for which there was evidence that former Iraqi Sunni Muslim dictator Saddam Hussein played a role (I brought a lawsuit against Saddam Hussein and Iraq for the victims of the Oklahoma City bombing) – and that the blast occurred in West, Texas, the former home of none other than former President George W. Bush. What symmetry and deadly timing with the Boston Marathon bombing – yet hardly a mention in the mainstream media of even the possibility of Muslim terrorism. And, of course, Obama and his comrades – including the FBI – refuse to even acknowledge the possibility (or likelihood) that the two events are somehow tied to Muslim terrorism.

Um. Hussein behind the Oklahoma City bombings? Klayman really does live in an alternate reality from the rest of us. Alex Jones would be proud, though he thinks the US government was behind all of these events.

And how’d THAT work out for ya, Lar?

  2. Gregory in Seattle:

“Texas” has five letters, which 2+3. “West” has four letters, which is 2+2. Twos and threes, PROOF THAT THE ILLUMINATI IS BEHIND THE EXPLOSION!

And Larry Klayman is two words, the first with 2+3 letters and the second with 2+2+3. HE’S AN ILLUMINATI AGENT!!!11one!!

  3. Strewth:

There was fertilizer at a fertilizer factory!? That’s unpossible!

When is the bar association going to do its job and disbar this asshole for filing frivolous law suits. Along with Orly Taitz.

I want a full congressional investigation into the radical Muslims terrorists and the Texas City explosion in 1947. The Communist government’s Islamic Fascist coverup must be exposed!.

  6. Reginald Selkirk:

Obama gave a “green light” to Muslim terrorists to attack the country.

    George Bush: “Bring em on.”

Were Muslims behind the Big Bang?

Back in the day, there used to be humane treatment facilities available for people like this.

Now they have their own blogs.

  9. Modusoperandi:

Now he’s just being ridiculous. There’s no way a suicide bomber could pack that much fertilizer into his vest.

  10. dugglebogey:

so the proof that muslims did the fertilizer factory is that nobody is saying that muslims did the fertilizer factory?

I guess baptists are guilty of 911 then, because nobody accused them of it!

  11. rabbitscribe:

Back when the Presidency was just a gleam in Obama’s eye, Klayman had to settle for suing his own mother.

And when did George W. Bush live in West? As far as I can tell, he never lived anywhere near Waco, the nearest city, and the only time he lived much north of Austin was when he was in Midland, which is far to the west. No doubt this twit has confused West Texas with West, Texas.

When their actions don’t bring the same amount of comedic pleasure to the legal profession on dull Monday mornings around the water cooler.

  14. Doug Little:

West, Texas, Muslims hate the west, checkmate.

  15. baal:

Look people, the lizard men are not only real, they are in our fertilizer factories.

The whole concept of not leaping to conclusions and co-incident doesn’t necessarily mean causal is lost on them.

I thought the “mystery accomplice” some folks allege took part in the OKC bombing was supposed to be a Neonazi.

    Klayman is a kiddie fondler.

@17: Your own link doesn’t completely support your claim (note the use of the key words “might have” in the title.). Klayman is enought of a jerk without treating unproven allegations as fact.

  19. fifthdentist:

I wonder whether Klayman will file a suit against President Andrew Johnson for families of the 240 Marines who died in 1983 in Beirut.

  20. blf:

so the proof that muslims did the fertilizer factory is that nobody is saying that muslims did the fertilizer factory?

I read it as his “proof” was that it was Ammonium Nitrate which blew up, which is used in IEDs, which are mooslin weapons.
    Q.E.D.

Plus a corollary about the timing. And some word salad.

(Using Generalissimo Google™ to search for Saddam Hussein Oklahoma City bombing brings up a number of wingnuttia sites (and what may be some refuting from the reality-based world), so I assume that is another weird corner of wingnuts. I didn’t bother to try and work out WTF the “reasoning” or “evidence” is…)
