Porn in the Vatican

TorrentFreak did a little research and found that there’s at least one person in the Vatican who likes to download porn. Using a program to track the downloading of torrent files, the site found that someone has a taste for transgender porn.

Music is also less popular than we expected. In addition to a compilation album there’s just one recent download of Ed Sheeran’s Lego House. Also from the same IP address was the only game download in the list – Aerosoft’s Mega Airport Madrid X.

But just when the whole exercise was beginning to fall a bit flat, we spotted some downloads to get pulses racing. It seems that while Vatican dwellers aren’t all that interested in Hollywood movies, they do enjoy adult related celluloid.

In the interests of science we researched each of the titles (including the curiously named RS77_Episode 01) and discovered that downloaders in the Vatican have one or two unusual ‘niche’ interests. We won’t link to our discoveries here, but feel free to do your own ‘research’ using the titles shown above. There isn’t a commandment that covers these films directly, but some might argue there should be.

Hey, at least none of it was child porn.

Look, it was probably just research. Oh, those poor actors; alas, the sinful viewers!

Now they know exactly who to pray for — and will be suspiciously well-informed on why.

Hate the sin, but LUUURRRVV the sinna! (Oh yeah!)
(Besides how else are the the old guys in dresses and funny hats gonna get it up for all them tempting, tempting choir boys?)

Porn in the Vatican, you mean the shit they painted on the walls and ceilings…Oh, you mean it was 21st century porn but it wasn’t kiddie porn? Wouldn’t they consider kiddieporn to be a “self-help how to”?

    Totes OT:

I couldn’t find a link so you’ll have to go here to watch Glenda Jackson shit on Margaret Thatcher’s grave. The last 30 or so seconds of the video, featuring the Speaker’s eloquent put-down of some bloviated conservaturd is worth the wait.

Oh, hello transphobia, fancy seeing you here.
Seriously, why is the fact that the performers in the porn were trans* relevant? It is just contributing to the notion that trans* people having sex is somehow more “wrong” than cis people having sex.

    Myoo @5,

Agreed on that sentence you quote. I would say that it might be of interest considering the Catholic Church’s positions on trans-related topics. I.e. it adds a layer of hypocrisy. Unfortunately, I think that the more common intent in pointing that out is more along the lines of going for a cheap laugh with exactly the implication you point out.
