WND’s ‘Forensic Profiler’ Strikes Again

Man, the Worldnutdaily is really flogging this “forensic profiler” who “worked on the disappearance of Natalie Holloway and the double-murder case against O.J. Simpson” — notice they don’t say that he actually helped catch the killer, because he didn’t. And his basic M.O. is to take anything Obama says he can’t do and say “A ha, that’s what he secretly wants to do!” The latest example:

In his newest analysis, he looks further into Obama’s statements in his press conference about the sequester issue in which he berated Republicans for not doing what he wants.

Hodges said “another spontaneous image” appeared from Obama’s “super intelligence.”

“Asked whether he couldn’t have pushed negotiations until a deal was reached, Obama replied, ‘I can’t have Secret Service block the doorway,’” Hodges explained

“He suggests the secret wish to block the Republicans from the door to the government. Failing to negotiate, he has made every effort to demonize/crush Republicans to gain total control of the government after the 2014 election. His ‘have Secret Service’ image further suggests a desire to totally control major government law enforcement agencies– to block any opposition,” Hodges said.

“The frightening image ‘of blocking the doorway’ to those who oppose him suggests progressively ideas of imprisonment/forced containment, and a picture of martial law. Extreme? Likely so for now but equally a potential major warning of his true intent – if everything fell into place,” he said.

Wow, how compelling. When someone I already think is evil says “I can’t do X” he really means “I sure wish I could do X.” Such an incredible argument. So why is the Worldnutdaily pushing this with a steady stream of articles that all say exactly the same thing? Two reasons. First, because it contributes to the demonization of Obama. And secondly, I’m sure you’ll be shocked to hear, it’s because they’re making money from sales of his book. It’s not journalism, it’s the Worldnutdaily.

I wonder if this guy ever profiles himself? Probably not that would lead to a negative feedback loop that would make his head explode.

because it contributes to the demonization of Obama

Frankly, I doubt anyone stupid enough to buy this bullcrap needs anything more than ‘black man … White House’ to make ‘em fear Obama.

  3. says

It’s worse than that. Obama clearly wasn’t about talkign abotu blocking the Republicans out of government facilities, but in until they reached a deal.

  4. John Hinkle says

Sure sounds like this guy has magical powers, donnit? And I wonder where magical powers come from. Hmm… can’t seem to think of his name offhand… what was it… mmm… could it be… SATAN?!?

  5. oranje says

Yes, failing to negotiate. When negotiating with the Republicans is only doing exactly what they want. Otherwise you’re inflexible.

I presume these Christians are looking for ways to act as bigots while denying the fact they are bigots.

“Before we get started, let’s all say ‘Happy Birthday’ to Elvis Presley today.” -Rep. Michele Bachmann, while campaigning for president in South Carolina on what was actually the anniversary of Elvis’s death, Aug. 16, 2011 (Elvis was born on January 8)

This suggests Bachmann believes Elvis faked his own death and was alive at the time she made. In her mind, August 16 marks the date…

Oh, fuck it. This shit is unparodyable. It’s ironic that the practice of imputing any meaning we like to any given statement is apparently called “Super Intelligence,” because it’s super-stupid.

“The frightening image ‘of blocking the doorway’…”

Once my little puppy stood in the doorway to the kitchen. Boy, was I ever frightened. And another time some liberal terrorist in a blue shirt stood in the doorway of my local Best Buy™ and said, “I’m sorry, Sir, we’re not yet open.” This frightened me so! I nearly wet myself in my fright.

    Blocking doorways. Scariest. Thing. Evar.

Hodges said “another spontaneous image” appeared from Obama’s “super intelligence.”

Holy crap, Obama is secretly VALIS!

  10. Curt Cameron says

“When someone I already think is evil says ‘I can’t do X’ he really means ‘I sure wish I could do X.’”

But in this case, the X’s are two different things! Obama was just replying that he can’t force the Republicans to stay at the negotiating table. Hodges then explains how this really means that he wants to keep them out of government. Obama was complaining that he can’t keep them IN, which to Hodges means that Obama secretly wants to keep them OUT.

To be fair, I think that a lot of Republicans should be blocked from government, just not in the way the wingnuts like to suggest is happening. They should be blocked by people not voting for them. To paraphrase Rachel Maddow from a Daily Show interview; when you feel that government doesn’t work, then government not working proves your point…and so you probably shouldn’t be trusted with the government.
