Bryan Fischer Award Nominee: Tucker Carlson

Tucker Carlson, as loathsome a little twerp as you will ever find in politics, and his Daily Caller have been steadily beating the drum against Sen. Robert Menendez for allegedly engaging some hookers on a trip abroad. The Rude Pundit digs into the archives and finds out what Carlson was saying about Sen. David Vitter when he was proven and admitted, not just accused, of doing the same thing.

In fact, let’s let Carlson speak for himself, as he did on his then-MSNBC show Tucker, on July 11, 2007. It is an object lesson in how repulsive this bottom-feeding scum worm actually is. Remember: Vitter wasn’t “accused” of whoring it up. He did it. And, believe it or not, even in New Orleans, that’s illegal. Carlson, talking to Michael Rectenwald, the head of some fucking organization that released the names of public figures who visited the brothel of a certain madam, actually said, “How could you justify doing something like this? Why is it your business?”

Remember, again: Vitter, a Senator, broke the law. “I don‘t remember David Vitter making any case that people who frequent prostitutes ought to be punished more severely than they are,” Carlson offered.

Remember, one more time: Carlson acknowledges that Vitter had sex with prostitutes, which is against the law. But still he could say, “I don‘t know anything about you other than you are holding up this guy‘s sex life to public ridicule. And you ought to be ashamed of yourself.”

And the icing on the cake:

“If this were [Democrat] Russ Feingold…I would be up there making the same argument that Russ Feingold’s personal [life] ought to be off limits from creeps and scandal mongers like you…who profit from digging into other people’s sex lives.”

Bravissimo! Encore!

Follow the money rather than the logic. Carlson fails utterly on logic. I assume he’s cashing in handsomely from his hypocrisy.

Also, I believe I read that at least one of the hookers (was there more than one?) admitted to being paid to make those (false) accusations. Wonder if old Tucker signed the checks?

Just like Chuck Hagel palling around with people that don’t exist. Friends of Hamas anyone.

Exactly, Modus, it’s like apples and oranges.
Everybody knows that when a ‘Murca-lovin’ patriotic patriot like Vitter is lured by Satan himself into indulging in sinful, wicked behavior in which he shits diapers with a prostitute all he has to do is dial up JC and ask for forgiveness.
Demoncrats can’t do that because they’re all atheist Muslims who don’t believe in Jesus and also hate him.

Wow, I just went to his wikipedia page and found this:

“In 2003, Carlson authored an autobiography, Politicians, Partisans and Parasites: My Adventures in Cable News, about his television news experiences. One of the book’s revelations was Carlson’s description of how he was falsely accused of raping a woman he did not know. Carlson wrote in the book that the incident was emotionally traumatic and strengthened his belief in the presumption of innocence, particularly on allegations of a sexual nature.”

    This makes it even better.

Carlson has always been a weaselly little twerp. He was probably the kid who sucked up to the class bully and acted as his sidekick. To this day, he remains the Grover Dill of political punditry.

I still maintain that the majority of the Brian Fischer award nominees are undeserving, because it is given based on: “a staggering lack of self-awareness, accusing their enemies of having the same traits and the same behavior that they themselves exhibit”. I say that they are aware, they just don’t give a rat’s ass. It’s all intentional – they realize that the vast majority of their readers/listeners/viewers are either too stupid or unaware. Sure, the nominees are incredibly hypocritical, but they know that in the vast majority of cases, they’ll get away with it.

B-b-b-but there’s a difference! Vitter was patronizing prostitutes purely for his own personal gratification. Menendez was offered prostitutes in return for political favors, even though it now turns out it probably didn’t happen.
