The folks at Right Wing Watch recently discovered the radio show of Rick Wiles, TruNews, and it’s been a lot of fun listening to him spew the crazy. The latest is that he says President Obama is “the latest incarnation of Satan’s spirit” and that he might — just might — declare himself God while he visits Israel.

I’m not convinced as of yet that he is the one and only ‘Man of Perdition,’ but I am thoroughly convinced that he is a forerunner of the ‘Man of Perdition.’
Mr. Obama may simply be the latest incarnation of Satan’s spirit inside a human being in a high public office. There have been many such men throughout history, tyrants such as Adolf Hitler. Consider these two news articles involving Mr. Obama. ‘According to Washington sources, Mr. Obama is poised to declare this week that homosexual marriage is a constitutional right in the USA.’…
‘The Obama administration must file any brief opposing the California ban by this Thursday, February 28.’ So brace yourself, Mr. Obama may declare this week that homosexual marriage is a constitutional right. Is he the Antichrist who changes times and law? Only time will tell.
Article number two: ‘Mr. Obama will travel to Jerusalem next month.’ I think it will be interesting to see if he enters Jerusalem on the same day Jesus entered the city prior to Passover…
Now here’s a crazy thought, I’m not suggesting that it’s going to happen; I’m just saying it’s kind of a crazy thought. Suppose that Mr. Obama enters the Temple and declares himself as God. Now, I don’t even want to go there today, I think it is too early for that happen but this is starting to get a little spooky, isn’t it?
Now that would be news.

WTF, what temple is this nutcase talking about? Currently, the Temple Mount is occupied by a Muslim mosque, the Dome of the Rock. It is doubtful that that Obama will come anywhere near the Temple Mount as the he has been asked not to do so by the PA.

There is no Temple, the Romans destroyed it 2,000 years ago. Where the Temple roughly is now a Mosque. The Temple mount itself is controlled by Moslem Palestinians.
I gather this is Wiles’ normal mental condition.
And what is the big deal about declaing Obama or anyone a god? It happens often. The mental hospitals usually have a few Jesuses running around. Declaring yourself a god does not make you a god.

You’d think he would jump for joy if Obama declared himself God. It would be proof Obama is mentally ill, and lead to his removal from office. And Wles is probably a constitutionally ignorant as many of his fellows, so he probably thinks that would mean Romney would become President.

i’m too late to point out that there is currently no temple and has been none for, oh, 1940 years.
However, it seems that I am the first one to point out that if Obama manages to walk into the temple in front of the entire population of Jerusalem, he would be more justified in calling himself a god than anyone else vying for the title.
