Klayman’s Delusions of Tyranny

Like so many on the loony right, Larry Klayman, the worst lawyer in America not named Mat Staver or Orly Taitz, suffers from terrible delusions, or rather delusions of terror. They utter the most lurid and dystopic fantasies of Obama crushing them, destroying them, rounding them up like cattle, putting them into FEMA camps and such. It’s the second coming of Hitler, Stalin, and Pol Pot all rolled into one. Here’s Klayman’s latest bit of idiocy:

In the last few weeks WND has published three articles, all of which are verifiable from independent investigation and fact checking, that unmask Supreme Leader Barack Hussein Obama’s plan to use force to extend his increasingly dictatorial power and take over the United States. Sound farfetched or just the usual paranoia the left likes to ascribe to us on the right? Hardly, given Obama’s executive actions designed to pave the way for an ultimate gun ban and his State of the Union address just this week – which revealed more about his vision and plans to “communize” the United States by grossly increasing the size and role of “his” anti-white, pro-radical Muslim, anti-Christian, anti-Semitic, pro-gay and lesbian, pro-feminist, atheist, pro-illegal immigrant and socialist government and eliminate what few liberties and freedoms we have left.

It is ironic indeed that just as one socialist dictator, Hugo Chavez of Venezuela, is about to expire of terminal cancer on his deathbed in a Cuban hospital, another one, who is much more powerful, is seeking to extend his control in a Stalinist “gulag style” power grab. Unlike Chavez and his also-dying buddy, Cuban communist strongman Fidel Castro, our fraudulently elected ineligible president is not just some two-bit dictator-terrorist of a Third World country; he is the so-called leader of the free world – an oxymoron if there ever was one since the “mullah in chief’s” apparent plans are to eliminate individual freedoms and instead install a “Big Brother” regime domestically and worldwide through his comrades at the United Nations and their Agenda 21.

Yes, yes, yes. And in four years, when Obama leaves office and hands over power to the next president and leaves the country little changed other than another 30 million or so people having health insurance, Klayman won’t admit that he was wrong. He’ll just keep on blathering about dark (literally) communist conspiracies. And he and his friends who play dressup on those “citizen grand juries” will just move on to the next thing they want to blow out of all proportion. Being a wingnut means never admitting to yourself that you were wrong.

While I think a lot of the unusual animus towards Obama comes from racial bigotry, now that the ball is rolling I think they’ll just continue to use the same arguments for all future Democratic presidents. I predict these right-wing memes are going to outlast the presidency that birthed it; all Dem presidents will now be communist/stalinist muslim/gay tyrants intent on taking away our freedoms and destroying america.

The next president really, really needs to be a woman who is either Jewish or Hispanic. That would completely short-circuit the rightists.

Heh, heh. “This does not compute. Norman, co-ordinate.”

If you were to play Teabagger bingo with that screed, you’d win hands down. Just about every word or phrase the baggers like to throw around is in there. It would be just my luck to get a card with “Hitler” on it. That’s the only name that’s missing.

WTF, I guess on Wingnuttia Obama is some kind arch-villain. He needs to get rid of Bo, invest in a fluffy white cat that he strokes consistently, and have a hard on for British secret service agents, or something.

Do you expect me to talk?

No Mr Bond, I expect you to die. Bwahhhhhaaaaaa.

Phyllis Schlaffley’s delusional son Andy, founder of Conservapedia, is another candidate for “worst lawyer in America”. He disagrees with Klayman, however: Schlaffley insists that both Castro and Chavez have already died and it’s being covered up by The Liberal Lamestream Media. Of course, he’s got just as much evidence for that as Klayman does for all the stuff he says.

Schlaffley is also a candidate for “worst engineer in America”. He somehow got an EE degree from Princeton but insists that the Theory of Relativity is a liberal conspiracy and that E definitively dos NOT equal MC^2.

Don’t even get him started on proof by contradiction, complex numbers, or elementary proofs.

What’s with the scarequotes on “his”? Is that a misogyny dogwhistle? A transphobia dogwhistle? A way of suggesting Obama is secretly a robot??? Help me out here!

  8. Subtract Hominem says

Right, because the Reptillinati are sexless. Of course that explains it. Thanks for clearing that up.

Is there some kind of “get as my racist comments in one paragraph” contest I wasn’t invited to participate in?

Klayman must have had some form of brain damage leading to memory loss at some point after November 2000, or January of 2001. This can be the only explanation of why he doesn’t remember right wingers like him making similar claims about Bill Clinton.

    “his” anti-white, pro-radical Muslim, anti-Christian, anti-Semitic, pro-gay and lesbian, pro-feminist, atheist, pro-illegal immigrant

If nothing else, Obama should be held as an organizational genius for bringing gays, lesbians, feminists, and atheists into the same coalition with radical Muslims. Not to mention the anti-Christians together with the illegal immigrants, the majority of which are Christians.

When I see babbles like this, I hope the next president is a Hispanic lesbian atheist with illegal immigrants for both of her parents. I can’t imagine anything that would cause their heads to explode more.

I don’t think that you’re quite catching the gist of being a wingnut. It’s not about actually saying things that are true, it’s about getting paid good money to, in effect DM. Think about it: you’re not mad at your friend who tells you–inaccurately–that an orc is about to attack, or just how big and bad the Big Bad is. No, no, no–that’s just part of the game! That’s his job, and the more exciting he makes it without breaking the suspension of disbelief, the better that he is at it. Folks won’t hold him accountable for lying, they’ll love him for putting on a great campaign.
