Wingnut: Brennan is a Muslim Convert

For reasonable people, the real problem with Obama’s nominee to head the CIA, John Brennan, is that he has been a proponent of torture and the architect of the drone program. For wingnuts, the problem with Brennan is that he’s a terrorist-loving appeaser who just loves Muslims. But now they’re going even further and claiming that Brennan actually is a Muslim.

As WND has reported, former FBI Islam expert John Guandolo has long warned that the federal government is being infiltrated by members of the radical Muslim Brotherhood. But Guandolo now warns that by appointing Brennan to CIA director, Obama has not only chosen a man “naïve” to these infiltrations, but also picked a candidate who is himself a Muslim.

“Mr. Brennan did convert to Islam when he served in an official capacity on the behalf of the United States in Saudi Arabia,” Guandolo told interviewer and radio host Tom Trento.

“That fact alone is not what is most disturbing,” Guandolo continued. “His conversion to Islam was the culmination of a counterintelligence operation against him to recruit him. The fact that foreign intelligence service operatives recruited Mr. Brennan when he was in a very sensitive and senior U.S. government position in a foreign country means that he either a traitor … [or] he has the inability to discern and understand how to walk in those kinds of environments, which makes him completely unfit to the be the director of Central Intelligence.”

Brennan did indeed serve as CIA station chief in Riyadh in the 1990s and today holds the official title of Deputy National Security Advisor for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism.

And I heard that Joseph Farah performed satanic rituals when he was in Israel a few weeks ago. My evidence? He was indeed in Israel a few weeks ago. See, it’s totally proven! (For the record, since I don’t want Farah to send Larry Klayman after me — or do I? That might be fun — this is intended to be a parody of the kind of argument Farah’s “news” outlet finds compelling. I did not actually hear that Farah performed satanic rituals)

You used a word there in your response that I don’t think WND readers are going to understand. It begins with e… ev…. something. No, it’s too hard.

Why you use so many great big word?

If I were a supernatural evil semi-divine entity à la modern conceptions of Satan, I would totally be influencing people to be more like Joseph Farah & the sincere portions of his readership at WND.

Not that I’m admitting to anything.

    sivivolk:

From what I’ve read, he was forced out after a sex scandal.

Farah and the rest of the loony tunes over at WMD have only one standard of evidence: If they wish really, really hard, Jesus will make it true.

Like math, actual tangible evidence is for liberal elitists.

Apparently, WND doesn’t realize that being Muslim does not, in fact, disqualify someone for government service and is not actually “disturbing”

IAOAC (I’m only a Canadian), but I’m sure your constitution, once upon a time, had a sentence saying that there would be no religious test for any public office. Or was that repealed?

” I did not actually hear that Farah performed satanic rituals.”

But I did. Involving goats. Billy goats.

Now, if I could just remember where I heard it………

The conspiracy actually dates back to when JFK said, “Ich bin ein Mooslim.”

I’m sure you can confirm on on Conservapedia.

    Re shouldbeworking @ #6

Oh, but, according to the nutcases at the whacknutdaily, Islam isn’t a religion so the statement about the religious tests in the Constitution doesn’t apply. I hope that clears it up.

composer99, we are not allowed to tell.
What John Guandolo really saw was John Brennan drinking a Molson’s.

Thanks for clearing up that misconception. It’s nice to have a translation from whirled-nut-daily-speak into sane language.

I remember reading about the satanic rituals somewhere, so I think you’re definitely onto something.

    Shouldbeworking:

The other thing to take into consideration is that, according to worldnutdaily, we are a Christian nation and that “no religious tests” clause just means you are free to choose whatever flavor of Christianity you want.

  13. says

Some are saying* that Farrah fucked donkeys while in Israel.
The proof? He was in Israel, where there are indeed donkeys.

    * Bonus Fox “news” “Some people say” trick thrown in.

That’s true, to the extent that you don’t support nutty beliefs, such as: Jesus was librul, pacifist, or a Jew. It’s still not a religious test, since it only ensures you won’t poison our nation with socialist ideals. You can even believe Jesus is not god, as long as you keep your trap shut about it.
