Bradlee Dean Almost Scores a Bingo

Bradlee Dean, rap metal drummer turned evangelist and columnist for the Worldnutdaily, offers up his weekly dose of stupid. He starts with a quote from Napoleon about the Bible having “a power that conquers all that oppose it” and then dives right in:

On a daily basis, America’s biblical and constitutional foundation is under hostile attack by atheist and homosexual groups that are being used in an attempt to usher in communism.

Damn, he was so close. If he’d just included “Kenyan” and “anti-colonialist” he would have hit a wingnut bingo.

The question is, who has been responsible for encouraging the onslaught of attacks against America’s Christian heritage and constitutional republic? You need not look any further than Obama and his vile minions for the answer.

Vile minions? Seriously?

History also teaches a lesson to tyrants who are at war with God and attempt to usurp His law (Isaiah 14:13-15). What man forgets, God will not.

What did Bonaparte say? Those who oppose God and His Word will be conquered – and that is exactly what history teaches us.

So that means Bonaparte must have opposed God, since he was conquered at Leipzig and Waterloo? Or maybe who does and doesn’t get conquered really has to do with military power, not imaginary friends?

As Voltaire put it, god marches with the big battalions.

Bible having “a power that conquers all that oppose it”

Napoleon: What part does god play in maintaining the stability of the Solar System?

Laplace: Sir I have no need of that hypothesis.

A few seconds on Google suggests that the Bonaparte quote exists only in Bradlee Dean’s head. How surprising.

Funny how Obama can look so liberal to the wingnuts when he seems moderately right wing to me. If you only think in labels it reduces the need to think. For drummer, thinking would just screw up his rhythm – best not to bother with it.

“Vile Minion”? Why is it that fundy insults so often sound like badges of honor?

I’m no expert on Napoleon but Wikipedia says he was a “deist with involuntary respect and fondness for Catholicism” who never believed in a living God but who pragmatically considered organised religions as key elements of social order. In other words, a vile minion using religion as a means to a political end.

Count on idiots like Dean to hold up cynics like Napoleon as shining examples of their delusions.

Well, as you didn’t give any example of Obama’s work to oppress Christians, I decided to go look
I thought several things most likely
    1) people aren’t going to be allowed to refuse contraceptive care in insurance they pay for
    2) Some church state decisions that were nothing to do with Obama
    3) No evidence at all

Annoyingly, and somewhat disappointingly, he didn’t include any, instead linking to Wallbuilders list of 50 hostile acts, which is too long to look into in detail, but many are familiar enough to know they are either basically false like the first, severe distortions, or Obama doing the same as many preidents before hem but being judged differently

Napoleon had such a high regard for religion that he placed the crown upon his head himself, instead of allowing a mere pope to do it.

Including The Obama administration denigrates other countries’ religious beliefs as an obstacle to radical homosexual rights.
Which was basically when Clinton said that being gay is not justification for refusing to protect the basic huma rights of people, ie that you shouldn’t kill people for being gay

Aw, it’s so cute to see people who see still reds under the bed, more than twenty years after the Cold War ended.

History also teaches a lesson to tyrants who are at war with God and attempt to usurp His law: use iron chariots (Judges 1:19).

    FTFY.

  10. John Hinkle says

Obama: Vile minions, go forth and encourage atheists and homosexuals to attack America’s biblical and constitutional foundation!

Minions: Should we be hostile too?

Obama: Hostile, dog style, any style!

    Minions: Oh dear!
Obama: No! No deer! The asshole is too high and they run like wind!

Just for fun, try to imagine how Dean and his minions would feel if Obama were to hold a press conference announcing that the United States was and still is a Christian nation — and, in recognition of this, he, Barack Obama, was now going to be officially guided by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and the power of Jesus Christ God Almighty in all his future plans and actions. Everything will be justified by the Bible. When he speaks as president, remember Who is speaking through him and behave accordingly. All praise to God.

Imagine the size of the brick they would shit. And rightly so.

I’m guessing that Bradlee Dean believes President George W Bush was the last US president to administer the annual living animal sacrifices to the Almighty and thus rededicate the Old Testament style blood covenant between the USA and the murderous bastard god of Israel?
