I don’t know if you guys have seen the site Hello There, Racists, but it’s alternately appalling and amusing. Okay, mostly appalling and vile, but it’s funny to see all the bad spelling and poor grammar that inevitably accompanies musings like this:
The book of Revelations done told ya’ll Obama would be president. The devil’s gotta be in charge somewhere.
That was after this same little Snooki wannabe said her grandpappy was gonna go “coon hunting” at the White House. And she says, “Christianity is a lifestyle, everything else is a hobby.” Praise the lord and pass the crackers.
There are dozens of these, mostly from people in high school and college. There’s one from Michigan, too, in Coldwater. He says he’s “totally not racist” while calling Obama a “Muslim nigger” who “shouldn’t live in the White House.
But my favorite is from Josh Fox of Erie, Pennsylvania:
We buy they’re groceries house em. Support there drug habits they pick the president. #fuckingniggers
Got the same word wrong twice in two sentences. I think we’ve found our next Rhodes Scholar.

I took a quick peek but it’s definitely NSFW (at least in my office, I’d get fired if someone came by and saw that content)

Getting a word wrong twice just shows you don’t know the correct spelling. Getting it wrong twice in two different ways shows that you’re really not trying.

There is a guy I know of, who uses the N word all the time, but he does not consider himself to be racist in the least, because he only uses the N word to describe bad blacks. You know, blacks who are on welfare and/or commit crimes.
He then proves how not-racist he is by extolling the virtues of republican blacks like Herman Cain. It is white, libtard bigots who are the REAL racists, cuz these libturds are conspiring to keep the blacks down with welfare and affirmative action!

Certainly more likely to be a roads scholar but still depressingly sad.

I beg to differ: Roads scholar. I think he should be the one to wield the “slow/stop” sign!

Strange, wasn’t there a story, long ago in a different universe where middle and high schoolers who did not know any better ended up being bullied after they made something stupid and had their name and face plastered all over the internet?

I went ahead and highlighted the key phrase there. Racists do know better. They either don’t care or blithely assume that no one important to them will disagree.

That was a depressing read.
I know this could never happen, but what if, at a certain age, getting your passport and going on an overseas trip to volunteer in a third world country was mandatory? In my anecdotal experience, friends that have traveled are so much more tolerant due to being exposed to radically different cultures and colors of people. I wonder if those racist asshats would have a different opinion about black people after spending a few months abroad.
Anyway, bah, going to watch videos of cats now to wash my brain out.

@mishcakes, #9:
The last thing the Third World needs is a mass influx of Jeebus-soaked Christian American kids. Missionary groups do enough cultural (and other) damage already.

Oof. You know…this rubs me the wrong way. The girl from the Jersey Shore has no reputation for racism, and also isn’t any stupider than the other girls from that show and yet seems to get the most grief by far mainly because she’s a little chunky. Better to stick with more familiar and more relevant comparisons, I think.

Adult racists: sure. Teenagers raised in racist households in conservative communities where bullies roam free who have little experience of the outside world, on the other hand, are a much different story. It would be a catastrophy if some of the kids shown on ths site ended up pursued by their tweets once they shook off their early years environment influence.

Odd coincidence, just before I logged on to FTB I was listening to Robert Price’s podcast “The Human Bible” where he pointed out that the last book of the Bible is “Revelation” (singular), and anyone who uses the plural form and claims to know the Bible just sounds ignorant, like these idiots.

I agree. I know the Snooki character only from the many mentions she gets on various websites, but at least from that it appears as though she is not a malicious person. Ignorant perhaps, but not hateful.
Here is a stupid thought: if all “dumb” people were like Snooki, perhaps the world would be a little better.

One can only hope that happens. I am one of six raised in a racist household. I am the only one that shook it off. Most of the kids I went to high school with have only gotten worse as they got older. The oddds aren’t good these kids will outgrow it; if they did, where do all these adult racists teaching kids to be racists come from?

I’ve never watched the show with Snooki, but I do watch South Park where they’ve ripped on her pretty badly. Perhaps they contributed to her getting more targeted than this young lady’s co-stars.

I had never heard of this Snooki before but looking her up my first thought was ‘why is this person famous?’ Then again I feel that way about a lot of celebrities, but no there seem to be a hint of racism.

I know a lot of Black people who do that, it seems to be a term for lazy or criminal Black people. It still makes me cringe even when they say it :-S
