   In a just and sane world, Fox “news” would be required to abandon the deceptive “Fair and Balanced” tag line and replace it with “The Math You Do as a Republican to Make Yourself Feel Better.”

   Don’t forget that Rove may be guilty of treason. Someone in the W White House committed treason for political advantage in the Valerie Plame case, and the most likely suspects are Rove and Cheney.

   To tell you the truth I’m a little bit surprised that Faux Noise isn’t still calling the election for Romney.

   Tangentially related, I found this blog post today. The quote that, for me, summarizes the election and the GOP response:

   Republicans think they just haven’t explained the message. They don’t grasp that the message itself has lost its punch.

   I realize marcus is joking, but it does bring up an important pont.

   My reading of Mr. Aisles is that he perceives that Fox News is a more lucrative money machine when the GOP is the minority party. It’s easier to spread hate, fear, and falsehoods when the favored party is out of power. The opposition power by way of enjoying power also makes for a more target rich environment.

   Consider how they don’t have Speaker Nancy Pelosi to kick around any more. That makes for more entertaining TV then defending Speaker Boehner.

    I take it you haven’t seen Fox’s Defending John Boehner. It’s like Survivor, but with no set, no challenges and no voting. It’s just sixty minutes of one Tribe race-, poor-, sex-, and most recently, workin poor- & middle class- baiting.
    Also, jokes about Al Gore, for some reason.

    I realize that ‘on-air talent’ is a term of art in broadcasting, but that strikes me as really oxymoronic!
