Wingnut on Wingnut Crime: Levin vs Romney Backers

Ooh, this one is fun. Yehuda Levin, an insanely far right rabbi, is seizing on Hurricane Sandy to criticize members of the Christian right for backing Mitt Romney. He says that Romney is a pro-homosexual, pro-abortion politician who will bring more hurricanes if he’s elected.

Remember when Dr. Falwell and Dr. Pat Robertson attributed 9/11 to the homosexual agenda and abortion? Guess our leaders have a huge problem doing that now.

After all, the dirty secret they don’t tell us is that Romney supports homosexual adoption and Boy Scout leaders, homosexualization of the military, “domestic partnerships”/civil unions, homosexual K-12 mandated school curricula, homosexual youth day proclamations, $50 taxpayer funded abortion in Massachusetts, and the list goes on. (Google Romney Deception and MassResistance.com).

Here’s a question for Billy and Franklin Graham and all the religio-conservative leadership:

Would your grandparents have ever dreamed of voting for Romney, if they had been aware of his atrocious pro-homosexual, pro-abortion record? So has G-d changed? Why aren’t you letting your followers know the truth?

And then he makes a prediction:

Do not vote for any candidate who supports an anti-G-d or anti-family agenda or legislation.

If Obama wins and the Senate is Republican, they can act as a strong loyal opposition, hindering much of the Obama agenda. However, if Romney (a wolf in sheep’s clothing) wins, even a Republican Congress will not significantly oppose Romney’s anti-family efforts. The results would be morally and spiritually catastrophic. It could be the end of the religio-conservative movement!

From your lips to God’s ears. Or something.

“From your lips to God’s ears.” Blasphemer!
That would be: From your lips to G-d’s ears.

Would your grandparents have ever dreamed of voting for Romney

I find this telling and typical of conservative authoritarians. Look to past authority for the answers.

  3. Captain Mike says

Would your grandparents have ever dreamed of voting for Romney … ?

Almost certainly not. He’s a Mormon. They had enough trouble voting for a Catholic.

  4. Captain Mike says

I’m not referring to my own personal grandparents, of course. They’re all Canadian anyway.

  5. NitricAcid says

As much as I love my grandparents, they also supported the internment of Japanese-Canadians during the war (and complained bitterly during the Gulf War that internment of Iraqi-Canadians would result in too many lawsuits), thought Quebec should have been kicked out of Canada long ago (possibly along with Ontario and the rest of the Eastern bastards) and the metric system was a plot to make us all French. I’m not going to vote based on their opinions.

Did Levin say that hurricane Sandy was God’s warning to the Red states to not vote for Romney? If so will some one please get God some glasses. the bastard’s eyesight/aim has gotten worst since Katrina,

This sort of sums up the cultural divide. To rightwingers, the magic man in the sky is the reality, global warming is the myth.

  8. conway says

Would Billy Graham’s grandparents have voted for Romney? Well, we know two of them wouldn’t because they couldn’t.

  9. Doug Little says

Want to so some wingnut on wingnut crime go here.
Fucking hilarious. If the comments are anything to go by we might see a fracturing of the tea baggers into their own party.

  10. Michael Heath says

The only candidate put forth for president who explicitly promoted an anti-family agenda was Jesus. He supposedly even demanded we submit to him in a way guaranteed to cause families to break-up.

  11. lorn says

… “the end of the religio-conservative movement!”

Gee … had I known that option was on the menu I might have voted for Romney. Someone needs to tell Yehuda Levin his timing sucks.

  12. Ichthyic says

So has G-d changed? Why aren’t you letting your followers know the truth?

    Holy crap!

I just figured it out… all the constant flip flopping, becoming whatever the person he’s talking to at the moment wants him to be…

    MITT ROMNEY IS GOD!

  13. criticaldragon1177 says

    Ed Brayton,

I won’t be surprised if Levin now blames ever natural disaster on Obama that he would have blamed on Romney. In fact I’m willing to bet he will, especially when the Republicans aren’t able to stop every Obama policy that he doesn’t like.

The bit the stuck out to me was:

If Obama wins and the Senate is Republican, they can act as a strong loyal opposition, hindering much of the Obama agenda. However, if Romney (a wolf in sheep’s clothing) wins, even a Republican Congress will not significantly oppose Romney’s anti-family efforts“.

So – if Mr Obama is re-elected (thus becoming god‘s representative on earth) then the Republicans would oppose any ‘evil’ legislation, reflexively only because they oppose the Democrats.
If Mr ‘(wolf in sheep’s clothing)‘ Romney was elected then they would vote for the same evil legislation, despite god, because they follow their earthly leaders firstly and foremostly.
So the Democrats and the Republicans are both evvvvuuulll it’s just that the Republican are ungodly too.
Perhaps Rabbi you should emigrate back to the ‘g-dly’ country of Israel.

  15. Christoph Burschka says

    MITT ROMNEY IS GOD!

Blasphemy! You used his name in vain!

    Here, I’ll fix it.

    M-TT R-MNEY IS GOD!

  16. sawells says

I’m still hoping that one day, when a political candidate in the USA spouts off about their undying unconditional support for Israel, their opponent will say: “My opponent needs to decide whether they’re running for office in Israel or in the USA”. Outflank them on the patriotism front.

  17. dingojack says

sawells – or better yet asks: ‘Whose interests does my opponent put first, those of the United States of America or those of a foreign power?’
