Yes, that’s what Ellis Washington actually declares in his latest column for the Worldnutdaily, that we are all living under Sharia law now. Of course, the fact that he is free to publish such tripe, and to publish at all as a Christian, kind of disproves that hyperbolic nonsense — but he never was known for his clear view of reality.

His article made 0 sense. I read it. I understood none of it. He went off on wild tangents about how Obama is a socialist, he uses communist symbology, and that France is somehow a Muslim nation because they’ve opened a Muslim Art wing at the Louvre.

Mr. Washington should be happy, our schools can now avoid teaching evolution and instead focus on creationism.

I fondly recall Ed’s presenting the attributes of ERVs in mammals to Mr. Washington as convincing evidence of common descent.

Of course the only thing that upsets many of the Sharia Law Chicken Littles is that it’s a Muslim thing. They’d be perfectly happy to impose a Christian version, minus the bans on pork and booze, and the latter might actually appeal to some. Even something like women being forced to cover themselves they could probably accept.

From what I understand from the article:
-Obama uses symbolism, just like Hitler
-Obama hates the Constitution because..um Communism? Marxism? Hitler?
-Obama hasn’t declared war on the entire Muslim world because of riots by dispersed groups of extremists who don’t hold political power in most of those countries which is just like appeasing Hitler
-The Louvre has opened up a wing of Islamic art..because there is a lot of Islamic art and some of it is pretty cool.. but this again is just like something something Communist Hitler and Obama’s fault.
-Because of all this we’re somehow under Sharia law and something, something Hitler

Actually, no Muslim Art wing as been opened at the Louvre: it was renovated and it’s been there since 1893.
…
Then again, 1893 is also the year Jean Jaurès, the founder of the french socialist party, was elected deputy: Coincindence? I think not: it’s the Muslimsocialistnazygay conspiracy at work: they were already destroying the free western world in the 19th century by supporting labor unions and exposing art pieces made by Muslims

Not a bad summary, but you forgot, “Chamberlain! Socialist appeaser! HitlerNazi!”

I wonder how many of the far-right nutballs who constantly see Chamberlains everywhere have any idea that he was a Conservative, and that the people who forced him out were those actual socialists in the Labor Party?

I used to do some recreational pharmaceuticals, washing them down with various solutions of alcohol and flavorings. My absolute worst head-splitting, day tripping, flashbacking projectile vomiting, writhing in my own fec–well, you get the picture–cannot be comparable to the state of mind that is Washington’s norm.
