Right Wing Watch reports that Bill Armistead, the chairman of the Alabama Republican Party, told an audience of Republican women that they should see the “documentary” Dreams of My Real Father, which claims that Obama’s real father is Frank Marshall Davis, who is supposedly a communist. And they point out how this movie has caused a wingnut rift:
Gilbert’s film has divided the birther movement, since its assertion that Davis is Obama’s real father would seem to be incompatible with the theory that the president was born in Kenya. Jerome Corsi of World Net Daily, apparently untroubled by the contradiction, has embraced the film. Birther leader Orly Taitz, however, claims that by promoting the film, Corsi is “trying to kill the case by making up an American citizen father for Obama.”
It also contradicts Dinesh D’Souza’s equally nutty documentary about Obama inheriting an “anti-colonial” mindset from his father, Barack Obama Sr. This is so much fun, isn’t it? Someone should make a documentary about these conflicting documentaries. They all know Obama is evil, but can’t agree on exactly why.

I see no problems with birthers, those who think the president is a Muslim, or those who claim he’s a socialist accepting all assertions simultaneously.

Hey, when you’re the antichrist, you are able to appear in many disguises to different people at the same time. Its what makes Obama such a potent, evil, enemy.
Oh, and the fact that he is black.

Whatever happened to the hypothesis that Obama’s father was really Malcolm X?

Obviously Frank Marshall Davis impregnated Obama Sr., and then they placed the Kenyan baby with Ann Dunham like some kind of brood parasite.

They also can’t seem to decide whether he’s a Muslim, an atheist or a satanist.

What benefit is it to the right if Obama’s dad was a Communist? It’s not illegal to have a Communist father. They might also want to consider the can of worms claiming this makes Obama an illegitimate president would open for their candidates.

As we’ve learned from the wingnuts, a person’s religion, ideology, and loyalty to a nation are all 100% inherited. Their own pundits who purport to be former left-wing radicals or satanists before they found Jesus don’t count of course.

I am surprised that the Birthers haven’t claimed that the 14th Amendment doesn’t apply to Obama because his father (Barack Senior) wasn’t born in the U.S. Who cares what Obama mindset is? I mean, if you’re going all in, why not go all in?

The fact that his mother was definitely a citizen being totally irrelevant? Weird how race bigots are usually misogynists.

Two fathers? No wonder he’s shoving gay marriage down our throats.
Wingnuts don’t really understand or care what Communism, socialism, Islam, etc. are, they just know they’re evil so you can be all of the above without contradicting each other.

The stupid thing is, that it doesn’t matter who the father is. It could be Satan, or Darth Vader or the Pope, as long as the mother is an American citizen, so is the kid. Oddly, I’ve only seen one birther claim that Obama’s mother isn’t his real mother, most of them are all about the father, making their already stupid point that much more stupid.

Arguably Obama could be Frank Marshall Davis’ biological son and still be influenced by Obama Sr.’s anti-colonial attitudes.
I really like Taitz’ attitude: She doesn’t critizise Corsi because the claims are wrong, but because they are bad for the movement, and more precisely don’t acknowledge Taitz’ role and work. Good to know her priorities. Her reaction is from April, though: Old news.
Another amusing sidenode: Taitz claims she worked for her cause “for 4 years 24/7/365“. Does she only sleep on leap days?

It’s worse than you know. One of the trailers for Dreams of my Real Father is actually trying to make the case that Ann Dunham was a nude pinup model based on nothing more than a vague resemblance to Marcy Moore.

If ideology is genetically inherited, then Romney really is way too moderate for the Tea Party crowd to support him.
