Corsi Finds New ‘Mystery’ to Obsess About

The ever-industrious Jerome Corsi has found yet another story related to President Obama to wonder aloud about, using a mishmash of half-truths and distortions to create some vague mystery to leave the wingnuts scratching their collective heads over. This time it’s an interview with Reggie Love, who used to be the president’s personal assistant.

RNC Chair: No Money for Akin

I’ve predicted that both the Republican party and the third party conservative groups will reverse themselves and pour money into the Missouri Senate race on behalf of Todd Akin, but Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Preibus says he won’t get even a penny from the RNC, even if the race is a dead heat.

O’Keefe Prevented From Going to Tampa

James O’Keefe, the demented frat boy who fancies himself a guerilla journalist, has been prevented from traveling to the city hosting the Republican National Convention, where he was scheduled to speak to a conference on citizen journalism. He is on probation for dressing up as a phone repairman to dishonestly get access to Sen. Mary Landrieu’s office in Louisiana and can only travel with permission from a judge. Couldn’t have happened to a slimier and more loathsome creature.

Could It Be…Palin?

The Wall Street Journal calls everyone’s attention to a “vague reference to a mystery speaker” in the official schedule for the Republican National Convention — namely, a “to be announced” appearing in the 10 pm slot on Thursday night. Cue the speculation, which begins with the WSJ’s poll of possible names that includes some rather obvious duds.
