It never really occurred to me that the problem with nested comments is that it makes it more difficult to find the new ones in a thread. So consider this a vote: Do you prefer the comments nested or unnested?

I’m a little late to the party in setting the comments section to allow for nested comment threads, which helps follow who is responding to whom. But all the cool bloggers are doing it, so I’ve finally gotten around to changing the settings to allow it.

Okay, this may be the funniest and most pathetic thing you’ll watch all week. Some dumbfuck bigot decided to protest against General Mills supporting marriage equality by setting a box of Cheerios on fire, but he ended up torching the company’s front lawn instead and then had to stomp it out. A federal district court has upheld Hawaii’s ban on same-sex marriage, which was passed by popular referendum. The state then legalized civil unions that apparently offer all the same rights at the state level, but not federal rights like the right to change immigration status. While I was in Denver last week, so was Romney, meeting with Gary Bauer, James Dobson, Tony Perkins and Jerry Boykin.
