Frank Gaffney and Andrew McCarthy are partners-in-stupid when it comes to their ridiculously paranoid claims that America is on the verge of being taken over by Sharia law. But Gaffney is also a birther and claims that Obama is likely a Muslim rather than a Christian. So when McCarthy and Gaffney held a joint press conference to defend Michele Bachmann’s loopy claims of Muslim Brotherhood infiltration of the government, McCarthy called those ideas “nutty” and “stupid” but then tried to pretend he wasn’t talking about Gaffney.

Speaking of crazy, our favorite whackjob, Brian Fisher has gone over the top and is now recommending kidnapping the children of same sex couples. Maybe the legal beagles here could comment on whether advocating that someone commit a felony can be charged with a crime.
