Me on Point of Inquiry

While in Amherst for the CFI Leadership Conference, I got to take part in the first video episode of Point of Inquiry, along with Michael DeDore, Jessica Ahlquist and Jamie Kilstein. This was all recorded before the show with Jamie. I thought the video came out great, thanks to the technical genius of Adam Isaak. Full video below the fold. My part starts at about 14:30.

Ah gee, ole Chris Mooney is still the interviewer. Apparently, POI can’t do any better.

Can we please not have a thread that descends into Mooney-bashing? I actually like Chris. I don’t agree with him some of the time, but that’s true of everyone I’ve ever known as well.

    Re Ed. Brayton @ #2

    Agreed.

I enjoyed how varied it was – everyone discussing different topics. Youtube doesn’t seem to want to let me watch it in my country, so I just listened to it.

andrewryan – this might sound like a dumb question* but how did you do that?

    * ’cause it is, in all probability, a dumb question

Dingo, is this a serious question or some kind disingenuous attempt to make me look foolish? If the latter, I’ve had enough. You win the internet, or whatever.

No seriously – I often have trouble with video because of zoning issues.
Anyway you don’t need me to look foolish* ;)

    * Yes, I’m just teasing you.

PS Thanks for the Internet, but right back at ya

I listened to it by downloading it through iTunes. If you already knew that, please forgive me for telling you something you already knew.

    Nope I didn’t.
[yes, yes indeed, I am an idiot, thanks for asking]

Just for the information of anyone interested, if one is using Firefox and downloadhelper, and one opens the link in Youtube, one can download an mp4 file in HD (1080p). I am currently downloading the file and shudder to think what our host looks like in HD (just kidding).

Apparently the video with our host was some time ago, before Thunderfoot and Greg Laden were given the heave ho as he mentions both of them being on board.
