Sarah Palin and her daughter Bristol have already had their reality TV shows, so now it’s Todd Palin’s turn. He’s going to be part of a reality show called Stars Earn Stripes, where washed-up has-beens compete in “military training exercises.” It’s being hosted by Gen. Wesley Clark, who really should be ashamed of himself for being part of it. Maybe they should just put them all on a reality show called We’d Do Anything for Money.

In 2004 I was one of three people in my entire county voting for Gen. Clark in Democratic primary. I still think he or Howard Dean had a significantly better chance of beating President Bush and than John Kerry.

And General Clark has torched any chances that he could run for president in 2016.

Sound like the perfect show for the Rush Limbaugh’s ,Mitt Romney’s and the rest of the let’s invade [insert random country here] crowd who think that wars are awesome, as long as no one ask them to actually fight them personally or help fund them by paying taxes.
BTW Ed, did you see the recent campaign ad from one of your all time favorite people ,not Joe the not plumber, where he claims that the Armenian genocide, the holocaust and slavery (slavery added by his campaign stuff as a defense against the anger the original ad caused) are the result of gun control laws.

There’s something oxymoronic about “Palin Reality Show”.

Hey, what’s wring with that? Palin’s terrific, loved him in Monty Python and he’s done a lot of good travelogue / doco type shows since. Good bloke Palin.. er, you *were* meaning Michael Palin there weren’t you?

(Looks at the text below the headline.) Oh.
Those other Palins. Sigh.
That lot are more freakshow than reality TV frankly and are giving the decent Palin’s of the world a bad name.
Guess on the bright side (of Life) they’re already fast fading into obscurity and utter irrelevance so there’s that.

How do so many people with the faintest relationship with reality keep getting “reality shows?”

I’ve been mulling over an idea for a reality show called “Pointless ‘Celebrity’ Death Row” …

Anyone remember George Carlin’s proposed reality show, “Slugfest”? Get a bunch of guys together, load ‘em up on whiskey and PCP, let them beat the shit out of each other, and the winner gets shot in the head by the judges. I’m not saying it’s right, just that we’ll get there some day.

I’m am still amazed that the same people who worship Sarah Palin are also the same people who insist that we live in a meritocracy in which the rich earn their wealth only through hard work and sacrifice. The Palins are a walking contradiction of their own belief system.

After reading the first two sentences I thought: “A reality show I might watch.” Then I learned it was not about has-been celebrities getting whipped for screwing up.
I guess I can kiss the celebrity B&D TV, aka: CBDTV idea good bye.
