SCOTUS Turns Down Another Birther Suit
To absolutely no one’s surprise, the Supreme Court has denied cert in yet another birther lawsuit, this one by Alan Keyes and Wiley Drake (yes, the Baptist preacher who encouraged his followers to pray for Obama to die). Which just proves that they’re in on the conspiracy, of course. Then again, what doesn’t prove that for a birther?

The wingnuts are all for states’ rights, till a state issues a birth certificate they would rather didn’t exist!
Or a state allows same-sex marriage!

Obama was born in the United States.
Well in Hawaii which technically still counts.
He is an American born citizen.
Yes, one born to a Muslim dad and raised in an Indonesian madrassa as a Muslim for a while, true.
His background is certainly atypical and highly unrepresentative of most Americans.
He would’nt have been my first presedential choice (Hilary Clinton) were I an American and he is the most pro-Muslim President in a very long time maybe ever. Just when the Muslim world hates the USA most and wants it wiped off the planet.
But still.
Birtherism just doesn’t fly.
It is wrong. Full stop.
This has been proven about a hundred thousand times now.

The school in Indonesia was a normal school not a madrassa. The majority of the students were Muslim however. Obama was never raised as a Muslim, his mother was a non-believer and his father was a stranger to him. Living in a Muslim country does not mean you are being raised that way any more than living in NA means you are being raised Christian.

The thing I never understand is this: If there’s this huge conspiracy going to keep a president that wasn’t born in this country in office, then why does it matter who the president is? Under this belief the system is clearly run by a huge conspiracy, so what does it matter who they appoint as figurehead? It doesn’t seem to follow that Obama is the main problem if you think most of government is intentionally supporting an ineligible president.
