Another Day, Another Outrage

Police officer tases a young man (a young black man, of course), then kicks his pregnant sister in the stomach when she screams as she watches her brother slump to the floor. She has to have an emergency c-section to deliver the baby. And the officer gets no punishment whatsoever. Welcome to America.

Here’s one of the comments on the story, showing that it takes a lot to get some people outraged.

If this welfare rat wants to be treated like a LADY she should start acting like one! Really! Attacking police officers trying to take her scumbag brother into custody…. who ELSE has she attacked in the meantime? With NO regard for her welfare tickets’ safety? Unless she was hospitalized for the entire 2 weeks – (which we know she wasn’t) then the “kick” had nothing to do with her delivering a week early, nor her having meconium in her amniotic fluid – THAT happens quite frequently!

Know why there’s no YouTube video of this? Because it shows what she REALLY did!

Reading the article this guy sounds like a disaster in progress. Sooner or later this guy is probably going to shoot someone he shouldn’t. I’m guessing Wheeler and his department are going to get sued.

And the officer gets no punishment whatsoever.

Despite not even administering the mandated transvaginal ultrasound beforehand.

On a similar note, Charles P Pierce wrote about cops tasering a pregnant lady at a routine traffic stop. Judge called it excessive force but didn’t punish the cops. So there’s an appeal. By the COPS. Because, y’know, tasering a pregnant lady repeatedly over a speeding ticket is justifiable force.

Ms Grant was probably more outraged by the fact that the same officer had shot a leashed dog when turning up at the wrong house on a call a few months back.

This remark may surprise some people who remember how I normally comment on stories about abusive police officers.

Even though the cop allegedly has some overly hostile, violent incidents in his history I’m not positive the police officer did anything wrong in this situation. I’ll wait for more facts.

Pinky, there is no need to use any kind of move on someone because they cried out. This is just another violent person being a cop, being an asshole.

From the linked article, this telling statement:

Wheeler has been a police officer since 2008, and according to his Facebook, he is a combat aficionado.

Couple this with his peach-fuzz face (see linked article) and I see another wannabe punk ass enforcer. He exemplifies the horrible affect of too many Stallone movies.

If the baby had died, odds are no one among the rightwingnuts would be calling for him to be charged with murder.

Someone like Limbaugh would be blaming Ms. Dozier and making “falcon punch” jokes.
