Right Wing Watch reports that the Republican Committee in Greene County, Virginia put out a newsletter in June that included a column declaring that if Obama is reelected in November, “armed revolution” will be the only recourse for faux-patriots like them.
We have before us a challenge to remove an ideologue unlike anything world history has ever witnessed or recognized.
An individual who has come to power within a Nation which yields it’s strength over the entire world.
An elected leader who shuns biblical praise, handicaps economic ability, disrespects the honor of earned military might.
In the coming days and weeks ~ we the people must come to grasp as a common force, our very soul’s, that our future as a sovereign nation is indeed at risk.
If every single individual that you know, would contact 25 other individuals ~ we can make a difference that will be heard across the Commonwealth and in Washington.
The ultimate task for the people is to remain vigilant and aware ~ that the government, their government is out of control, and this moment, this opportunity, must not be forsaken, must not escape us, for we shall not have any coarse but armed revolution should we fail with the power of the vote in November ~ This Republic cannot survive for 4 more years underneath this political socialist ideologue.
And yes, “coarse” is a very appropriate misspelling.

Tiny little people puffing themselves out. I’d keep an eye on them, but wouldn’t waste much time worrying.

I’m sure the Grate State of Virginia could survive for more years of Obama. It has survived so many more years of poorly-educated, narrow-minded bigoted right-wing loons that there’s nothing Obama could do to make the place much worse in such a short time.

Hyperbole much.
And by armed I’ll assume that they are not talking about facts or good arguments. But let’s see how that works out for them.

As opposed to a polite but unarmed one?
Yeah, having run out of arguments, the Greene County GOP has no coarse left but a pidgin English appeal to rise up in armed resistance. Fortunately, while their clientele might be heavily armed, rising up without help is a challenge for many of them, seldom undertaken save when a misplaced remote absolutely demands it.

Given the locale of this band of idiots, I have no doubt that they mean that a black American president is unlike anything the world has ever witnessed or recognized. And since… um… as long as this country has existed, the south has been full of degenerate white men who would refuse to recognize a black president.
I think these rubes should be indicted and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Ah, of course. If they don’t win by voting, they’ll try to enforce the Real Will of the People, aka the Real Americans. Who coincidentally all happen to agree with their incredibly bigoted and idiotic views.

Um . . . ‘yields its strength’? Is this some kind of complaint that Obama is giving up American power to the international community, or is it just another incorrect word usage?
Judging from the rest of the message, my money is on the latter.

Ironically, if this bunch of yahoos ever does take up arms, it’s far more likely in response to a call to arms from a future President of the United States who has decided to engineer a crisis to keep him or herself in office, such as announcing the need for the formation of armed citizen posses to round up all those 20 million pesky America-destroying illegals in the country.
I’ll admit that’s not likely either, but at least it’s possible they can be encouraged to start shooting unarmed brown people. But taking up arms against the government? They don’t have the balls.

My irony/hypocrisy sense tells me that these people also speak with horror about how terrorists will gain (or have gained) control over the government.

Didn’t we already do this armed-revolution-because-those-Yankees-are-forcing-the-black-man-on-us thing before? Remember that whole civil war/war between the states thing when the south, in it’s zeal to continue owning humans, went to war under the guise of the “intolerable acts?” How’d that work out for you back then, Goobers?

Doesn’t this fit the conspiracy laws in your country?
Why aren’t these people under arrest, or held incommunicado while being waterboarded for more information?

I’ve always wondered about people who think they could overthrow the government with armed uprisings.
Haven’t they ever heard of long-range artillery?

The US Rightwing has lost its ability to express any of its thoughts, opinions, or policy proposals in anything that looks like grammatically correct, logically coherent English sentences. The most they can do any more is to string their worship words together into long phrases that they seem to think is communication.

Yes the Daisy Cutter should do the job nicely. Another interesting point is that these very same people would go bonkers if the government started to cut the military budget. You would think that if you were going to violently rise against the government you would want heavy cuts to the military.

After the first three lines I thought it was gonna be one of those “Obama … or HITLER??” things.
Now I’m feeling slightly disappointed.
Also, I’m pretty sure “yields it’s strength” was supposed to be “wields its strength”. That’s the only way that sentence makes sense.
