Limbaugh Tries to Scrub Fluke Comments from Youtube

It seems Rush Limbaugh is getting a bit sensitive about having his vile attacks on Sandra Fluke out there for everyone to see. The Daily Kos made a Youtube clip putting a whole bunch of his disgusting comments together and now Limbaugh has had it removed for a copyright violation.

Overall, Limbaugh attacked Fluke an astonishing 53 times over three days. We took snippets of each of those attacks and spliced them together for the world to see, then uploaded it to YouTube.

Today, we got notice from YouTube that the clip had been pulled for copyright violation..

The video is clear Fair Use. It’s not even a close call. We’ve already asked YouTube to reconsider. And I’d be happy to litigate this issue with Limbaugh’s lawyers in court, if they want to take it that far.

But I am perplexed—why is he suddenly so shy and retiring about his views on Sandra Fluke? He should be thrilled that us liberals are helping spread his noxious views. Or is he now embarrassed by them?

This move is absolutely pointless. They know they can’t win in court. And if Youtube doesn’t restore the clip, that will speak volumes, In the meantime, Kos has put the clip on Vimeo.

Removing the video should do it.

Its not as though human beings have memory capability.

Yeah! but it reminds me of the first programmable calculator I had” 16k and flushed frequently… at least I think it did, can’t really remember. :-)

The fat boy made a classic playground bully mistake — he attacked someone who had large friends. Normally, he’d go after people who can’t fight back. This time, it came back to bite him, and he’s trying to get away from it. But it’s turning out to be a tar baby, if you’ll pardon the expression. Not so easy to extricate yourself from one of those.

You can copyright stupid? Wish I had thought of that, the rolyalties could roll in forever.

It is perplexing. The right loves to talk about how brave it is for standing up to those uppity minorities and eschewing political correctness.

I mean, unless they’re in actuality a bunch of lying cowards…

I imagine there was a huge spike in audience numbers when he went on the original diatribe. This publicity will get the subject back into the news and whaddayaknow – a spike in audience numbers!

    Clever man Limbaugh

So it took three days for someone to explain to this idiot how birth control pills work?

    1. Aquire large amounts of Viagra,
    2. Take sex vacation to the Dominican Republic,
    3. Come home, pregnancy free.
That is how you take the pill!

Lol Modus I wish we had those stupid like buttons.

I sense a disturbance in the Farce; a new meme may be hatching: Stupid like buttons.

The heartening assumption is that those buttons are pushable. Much mischief seems certain. Even more certain is the embarrassment and outrage that is bound to ensue.

I see our devious plan is working. Limbaugh being rattled is points not in his favor and bodes well for future pointing and speaking out loud; something I think he is not as good at as he pretends. Cool.

    =)

He’s so dim in the dome as to think that’s the only place people can rerun and even download (shudder) recordings of his viperous vileness?

It’s best that we don’t. You do not want to see Michael Heath on a comment high. Total diva!

I watched the video and was ASTOUNDED that he made SO many references to Fluke in two days! The vitriol was incredible. Could it be that even Limbaugh realized that he went over the top?

    Nawwwwwwwww!

Stupid Like Buttons (reminds me of phrases such as “dumb as a brick”): Use non-stupid buttons instead, such as ‘buttons’ for insightful, well articulated, funny, and maybe troll or something. (Inspired by TechDirt.)

But it will be a very cogent high.

Michael – seems like you’ve got a fan club. Now’s the time to take advantage of this and start blogging for FTB (and besides house sales are particularlly soft at the moment).

    Modusoperandi – One small addition:

Obviously. Girls who advocate for the Pill are sluts, but boys will be boys.
