Bryan Fischer continues his cavalcade of crazy bigotry by saying that America should not allow anyone into the country unless they convert to Christianity. Video below the fold.

Come on Ed, I think you’re being a bit unfair to Fischer – he just wants to enforce the constitution as the founders intended. :p

  2. matty1 says:

For some reason this title made me think of warning stickers.

“Caution America is only for use by Christians, excessive use of Christian America may lead to headaches and nausea. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery while under the influence of Christian America”

  3. eric says:

I fully agree…as long as I get to decide which sects count.

  4. brucecoppola says:

@eric: The only sect Bryan Fischer wants in America is his. Which, of course, would make us a homosectual country.

Thanks, I’ll be here all night…

  5. TxSkeptic says:

And the Christian Taliban is an entirely different thing from the Muslim Taliban. Oh sure, they both hate women, gays and apostates, but at least the xtians like the Jews, so long as they’re in Israel. They want them to have their own homeland so they can all get killed and then Christ will come back.

  6. Irreverend Bastard says:

Can I convert to just any form of Christianity, or are there some that don’t count? Are Mormons Christians? Is God one person, or three?

  7. zentrout says:

    @brucecoppola
And be good to your waitress!

  8. The Lorax says:

    @brucecoppola

You win a free Internet. Well played, sir.

  9. Michael Heath says:

I noticed that while not mentioning Jews, he argued in a way that require them to convert as well.

  10. If Fischer got his way it would be Spain, 1492, all over again. No Jews, no Muslims.

  11. pelamun says:

What happens to those who were born in the US and then convert, or become atheists?

Where are they deported to, especially if they only have US citizenship?

  12. Artor says:

Well, according to our Next President *gag* Santorum, non-Catholics aren’t really Xtian, so Fischer better convert quick before he’s thrown out on his ass.
As happy as I’d be to see Fischer go somewhere very far away and never be heard from again, I’d really rather it not go down quite like that.

I would expect the people who are already somewhere very far away would insist that it not go down like that. Send him some place else!

  14. Zinc Avenger says:

And the only Christians that count are members in good standing (and fully tithed) with the Reformed Latter Day Upper Primitive Revival Hoppist Espiscopalian Anglicans. Everyone else, get your passports.

  15. reasonbeing says:

He is a vile human being. I am so tired of hearing this type of intolerance, though he takes it to a new level. I have to admit, it is because of people like him that I started my blog, and became active in the atheist community where I live. I just can’t sit by and not speak out about it anymore.

  16. Ace of Sevens says:

Did he say UN security forces have taken over the American South?

  17. TGAP Dad says:

Just when you thought no one could top Ann Coulter’s infamous “We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity, ” along comes Bryan Fischer.

  18. M Groesbeck says:

Though I was born a U.S. citizen (two American parents), I didn’t enter the U.S. until I was a few weeks old. I was, at the time, not officially Christian. Does this mean I’ll have to go back to Tahiti?

  19. pelamun says:

    M Groesbeck,

unfortunately France only gives you French citizenship if one of your parents was also born in France. So no luck there.

What I wouldn’t give to be a fly on the wall during a psychological evaluation of this man.

There is something deeply wrong with him. I don’t know what, but I’d love to put a name to it.

  21. sunsangnim says:

The UN dictates US immigration policy? Who does this guy think he is, Alex Jones?

    I guess the DSM-V doesn’t actually recognize “Assholery” as a disorder…
