Santorum Lights Up Boone’s Life

Yes, I know that evil song was done by Debbie Boone. But her father, a birther, wingnut and certified moron, is now endorsing Rick Santorum. Whatever shall we do, with the quasi-celebrity wingnuts disagreeing with each other on which candidate to vote for?

Pat Boone is rooting for Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum, the singer announced over the weekend.

“I am excited to endorse Rick Santorum for President. I’ve known Rick for many years and Rick has been a consistent defender of conservatism and the values our great nation was founded upon,” Boone said in a statement provided by the Santorum campaign on Sunday.

Comparing the former senator to Ronald Reagan, the 77-year-old singer said Santorum is “experienced, honest, and deeply principled.”

So Chuck Norris is on Team Gingrich. Boone wants Santorum. Has Victoria Jackson or Kirk Cameron endorsed anyone yet? Maybe Gary Busey can break a tie here.

Here’s hoping that Norris & Boone will come to blows on WND. I can envision it: Norris tries one of his famous roundhouse kicks and his rug falls off. Boone swings his guitar at Norris and misses.

Firstly – Pat Boone referring to himself in the third person, one of those things that make you go ‘hmmm’.
Secondly – Pat Boone better not try ‘rooting for’ anyone here.

    24. Colloquial ‡ to have sexual intercourse with.

Busey is kind of busy this week — he just filed for bankruptcy. That might lead him towards endorsing Gingrich, who is, of course, morally bankrupt.

Obviously, we need to know which candidate Jesus told to run.

    Oh wait.

Ah, yes. The values our great nation was founded upon. The oppression of a minority. Full citizenship given only to white males. Most excellent values!

What about the other great values upon which our nation was founded? The government staying the fuck out of religion, and religion out of government? What about enlightenment? Liberty? Equality? The pursuit of happiness? Not just for white males, but for everyone? What about those fucking values, Boone? Or are you going to sacrifice those values on the alter of your Christo-fascist white maleness?

@Irreverend Bastard you, sir, are a very bad person. Although, I do feel oddly more self confident now. I think I’ll go talk to that cute cashier at the corner store…
