Wingnut on Wingnut Crime: Pat vs Ann Coulter

Our old friend Pat has moved his blog from politicalbyline.com to Blogspot, calling his new blog Thoughts and Rantings (one out of two ain’t bad). And he seems to have it in for Ann Coulter, criticizing her for saying that she would prefer Ron Paul to Newt Gingrich with his usual class and grace:

Coulter flips her cork…..again. Must be the new boyfriend or something. All those orgasms going to her brain, I guess.

Amusingly, Pat announced that he was done blogging, which I’m sure was crushing to the four people who read it, with his standard incoherence:

This is not something that I actually enjoy writing. However, it is time to face facts and just do the right thing. I have been thinking about this for a long time, after writing about politics for six years; for one as a left of center populist type and then for five as a right of center populist type, it is time to hang it up and quit.

This is because I have become so cynical. The entire Tea Party movement was a horrible joke; there was never any intention by the Republican Party to heed the calls of the Tea Party for no more business as usual. The Republican Party is now running a bunch of establishment candidates; even Bachmann is not as “Tea Party” type as some people might believe. She is totally beltway as they come, believe me.

In addition, Blogging has reached the zenith of its cycle. The only people still blogging, are people who are professionals. There is just no room for traditional Conservative voices like mine anymore…

I was going to quit when my blog Politicalbyline.com went down; but my Mother suggested to me that I continue writing and that I shall, just not on a blog anymore. I will be submitting various editorials to some websites that I happen to enjoy reading and have wanted to contribute to for a long time. This blogging adventure was a fun one, while it lasted. I, again, have just become too cynical for it. I despise hypocrisy and I am seeing it on full display in the Republican Party.

Sure, that makes sense. He’s become too cynical to write on his blog, so instead he’s going to submit articles to other blogs. But then he had a change of heart:

All right people, here is the deal. I realize that I said that I was done blogging and to be quite honest with you, I wish I were done writing about politics. However, I need to do something. I am getting slothful in my downtime here. Besides all that, many of you, not very many, but enough of you —- did read my writings on the other blog. Because of this and because I can promote the thing on twitter and other social outlets, I can get some sort of readership here…

I will try to write everything in MS-Word and try to sound like I have a thread of common sense between my ears. One of my biggest failings as a blogger was that I relied on my own ability to write things freehandedly, which made me sound like an idiot at times. However, I will not apologize for my political stances. I will offend some I cannot change that; but what I can change is the perception of me as a person.

He appears to have a rose-colored mirror. You don’t sound like an idiot becuase you wrote things “freehandedly” (which sounds a lot like strategery); you sound like an idiot because you are, in fact, an idiot.

I think all of Pat’s readers are people reading him to laugh at him. Like, oh, you, Ed. ;)

What a sexist piece of shit.

Pat: Ann Coulter does what she does because she’s human (I know, I know), not because she’s female, you misogynistic turd.

Fuck off, Pat. You’re never gonna get out of your Mom’s basement as long as you’re that fucking stupid and hate women that much.

slc, are you not on the uptake again?

He’s trying to say that she’s doing things because she’s a woman. Being female has nothing to do with her political stances.

    Do keep up.

I’m still dunking my head in the brain bleach over the mental image of Coulter having an orgasm.

I have this vision of Pat’s Mother standing over him as he carefully formats his screeds in MS-Word, looking to make sure that his train of thought gets to the next station on time.

For some reason, I keep thinking `Norman Bates’.

The question mark was in regards to the assignment of the feminine gender to Coulter. Unfortunately, Heath doesn’t like it when I raise such questions.

“Coulter flips her cork…..again. Must be the new boyfriend or something. All those orgasms going to her brain, I guess.”

Pat’s just jealous that Coulter didn’t come down to his mom’s basement and whisk him away to be her boy-toy in her New York high-rise. He has whined in the past that none of the skinny, conservative wingnut blondes ever fall for his fat, ignorant ass.

“Mother suggested to me that I continue writing…”
    I think I can hear the conversation now;

“Pat! I have guests over! You can’t come up here in your underwear! Get back in the basement and whatever it is you do down there! Git!”

“But Mo-om! I need to get more Cheetos from the kitchen!”

“No Cheetos for you! Down, boy! Down!”

It gets old. But mostly it irritates me because assholes on the right say the same things about women on the left (see Ed’s article on the freeper’s reactions to the Navy’s ‘first lesbian kiss’).

But to be fair, I do sometimes question whether or not Coulter is human.

    FTFY.

He is “getting slothful”? What horrors must exist in that basement shanty if Pat just now recognizes he is “getting” slothful.

Haha. Yeah, that’s why they were a joke. Sure, Pat

Holy crap! Have you seen his Google+ profile and pic?

Fat, single (surprised?), unemployed (surprised?) and he feels the need to boast that he possesses “A Rather large tally-whacker! Harrumph!”

I’m pretty sure he frequently fantasizes about introducing Coulter, Bachmann and Palin to it.

    Pathetic.

  13. 2-D Man says

So he thinks orgasms cause brain damage?

How does he explain himself then?

Pat might be an idiot, but I’m pretty sure he’s figured out how to wank. Just look at his blog.

    SLC,

Unfortunately, Heath doesn’t like it when I raise such questions.

Heath’s not the only one. In fact, I’m certain that you’re the only regular commenter here who finds it amusing. And by mentioning it again in this thread with the express purpose of annoying Michael Heath, you’re pretty clearly stating “I’m being a troll.”

  15. The Christian Cynic says

I second Sadie. We’ve long established that there is no evidence suggesting that Coulter was born male, but more importantly, it wouldn’t matter if she had been, as 1) it shouldn’t even be brought up as an insinuation because it smacks of transphobia (as noted above) and 2) she would still be female at any rate because she obviously identifies as such.

This is one of SLC’s broken records that I have tired of for a long time, like “I bet Mr. mroberts will come to tell us his opinion on [homosexuality/gay marriage/the gold standard/etc.] shortly” (which fortunately has gone by the wayside). It seriously just needs to stop, as it is highly annoying and distracts from just about any topic where it is mentioned.

  16. slc1 says

Re The Christian Cynic @ #20

Speaking of MRoberts, it’s been a long while since we heard from him (possibly Mr. Brayton has given him the heave ho). I sort of miss the quite unintended comedy from his moronic comments.

As for Coulter, I just couldn’t resist the temptation to comment on Aquaria’s characterization of her as a female.

By the way, according to the attached link, Coulter’s birth name was Arthur Coltrane so it would appear that some of the folks present at the time thought that she was a he.

Although this is far OT, I attach another link from the Israeli newspaper web site, Ynet, which cites a 24 year old Israeli man who, apparently has given birth to a child. And if people here think that I’m over the top, read the comments, many of which are disgusting.

    @wordsmatter16

Yeah! Let’s make professional evaluations based on personal appearance! HAHAHA look at the fatty! Luckily none of the people I respect are overweight! HAHAHA he’s SINGLE! What a LOSER! Certainly everyone whose opinions I respect is in a relationship at all times – why listen to them if they’re so obviously bad at getting laid?

I, like you, love being oblivious to ad hominem when I am the one using it. It’s so much more fun than making a real point, and plus there’s certainly no risk of offending people who I would otherwise wish I had as allies!

  19. harold says

Amusingly, Pat announced that he was done blogging, which I’m sure was crushing to the four people who read it

All four of whom are reading it to ridicule it, I might note. And even that is far more than I have the stomach for.

    slc1 –

Some women advocate brutal authoritarian right wing policies, yet are universally viewed as attractive and are unequivocally heterosexual. Therefore you have no problem with those women, because the problem with Coulter is her appearance or maybe her orientation – right?

Some women are about as attractive as Coulter and are transgender or openly lesbian. Therefore, you condemn their political views whatever they are, right? Again, because if the basis of your rejection of Coulter is her appearance or maybe her orientation, that would be logically consistent.

  20. The Christian Cynic says

Seriously, the best you can do is an answers.com page? That’s a claim that seems to be common enough among some sites, but oddly, no credible outlet has picked up on it. Wonder why that is?

And I need to repeat: even if Coulter was born biologically male, she would still be considered female today. She may be an odious woman, but she is a woman nevertheless.

  21. slc1 says

    Re Harold @ #25

What I dislike most about Coulter is her insincerity. According to a former gentleman friend, she admitted that she doesn’t believe 90% of the crap that comes out of her mouth or her word processor. Her personal appearance (which, by the way I don’t think I have ever commented upon) or sexual identity is irrelevant. I bring it up because the audience whom she panders to doesn’t consider sexual identity to be irrelevant, which apparently bothers her not in the least.

Re The Christian Cynic @ #26

Does Mr. Cynic have some reason to question the accuracy of answers.com? Is Mr. Cynic aware of a refutation of the charge that her birth name was Arthur Coltrane?
