Orly Taitz to Run for the Senate
In yet another sign that Bacchus loves me and wants me perpetually amused, Orly Taitz has joined the cattle call of crazy in running for office in 2012, filing papers with the FEC to run for the Republican nomination to challenge Diane Feinstein for her Senate seat.
Wonkette has a great quote from Taitz on why she thinks she can win:
“I think I do have a chance specifically because I do speak Spanish and I speak Hebrew,” Taitz told The Bee after attending a town hall-style event on Latino issues at the California Republican Party convention in Los Angeles.
Sorry, you don’t make any more sense in those languages than you do in English.

I can see it now: “Orly Taitz Receives 2% of Vote in Senate Race, Demands Recount.”

Doesn’t she also speak whatever language they use in Moldova where she is from?

Heh, maybe it’s like how Islamic apologists claim the Quran has to be read in the original Arabic to make sense: Orly’s legal arguments are only coherent in Hebrew?
Couldn't think of a decent nickname:

I don’t believe she’s eligible and I wont’ allow stupid crap like “laws” or “facts” to change my opinion.

Well, in a country as KKKrazze as MurKKKa, Orly’s got a shot. I wonder, has she paid that $20K fine, yet? I would think that might make here oath of office a bit, um, difficult.

Feinstein would beat her even she dropped dead in the middle of the election campaign

I wonder if the legal jibberish in her court filings would read better in any of her other tongues. Nah.

I agree with you, Ed. It’s the gift that keeps on giving.

I had thought that the witch Christine O’Dummel, who warned of those evil scientists’ plot to put mouse brains in humans and then almost made the charge credible by her own behavior, was the pinnacle of batshit/stupid candidates.
What’s next, a Klan grand wizard running for Senate on the Republican ticket? Oh wait, that one’s already been done.*
* See Duke, David. Who actualy received 43.5 percent of the votes in a statewide race in Looseranna.

Way to be a racist and anti-Semite, Orly!
There are lots of legal Hispanics in Los Angeles. You’d be amazed at how many were there long before all you gueros slimed your way into CA.
And it’s Yiddish that’s the first language of Hollywood–not Hebrew, meshuggeneh! Hebrew is for the religious stuff; Yiddish for business, fun, and making fun of schnooks like you. Sheesh, everyone who knows anything about the biz in Southern California knows that!

She is also apparently quite fluent in the language of the evangelist: bovine scatology.

I demand proof that she is from Earth! And none of this short form shit. I want the long form.

While I still think the Quran is religious nonsense (like every holy book) there is at least merit in the idea that you need to read a written work in it’s original language. There are subtleties of meaning and plays on words that don’t translate well if at all. Orly however makes sense in absolutely no language.

I’m just shocked she was able to fill out the paperwork correctly…presumably.
