We’ve got seven new blogs on the network starting today and I’m really excited to have them all here. They are:
Dana Hunter — http://freethoughtblogs.com/entequilaesverdad/
Al Stefanelli — http://freethoughtblogs.com/alstefanelli/
Atheist Experience — http://freethoughtblogs.com/axp/
Ian Cromwell — http://freethoughtblogs.com/crommunist/
JT Eberhard — http://freethoughtblogs.com/wwjtd/
Justin Griffith — http://freethoughtblogs.com/rockbeyondbelief/
Kylie Sturgess — http://freethoughtblogs.com/tokenskeptic/
I’m especially excited about Dana Hunter joining because she’s a fellow Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers fan. In fact, the picture on her blog was taken at Circus Mexicus, an annual event that RCPM has in Rocky Point, Mexico. I’m terribly jealous, as I’ve never been to it. We have plans to convert all the others and, eventually, take over the world. We’ll start with this video, which is from a show I was at. The girl with the video camera was right next to me.

Gah! So many blogs, so little time! I have to say that since Freethought Blogs came online I’ve been introduced to some really interesting writers that I wasn’t aware of before.

So have I, actually. We’ve added new blogs that I’d never heard of before, on the recommendation of the others. It’s been great.

Welcome to all of you. I have to say that I’m with roddg and Ed here. I’ve been introduced to a number of blogs that I had never heard of and have become a regular reader of some that I had visited only occasionally.
Hey, Ed. I know that there are going to be expenses as well as benefits from the new blogs. PZ had a recent thread about ads and a number of us (including me) strongly suggested adding a PayPal button or the like so that we could contribute directly to the expenses of the site and not just by clicking on (for example) Michele Bachmann’s ads to get some money out of them. I, for one, would gladly toss much more into the kitty than I would ever be likely to generate in clickthrough ad revenue. (Especially considering the sort of ads that Google Ads tends to put on here based on keywords — Christian dating, anyone?)

Ed, the error generated when following the “Older Entries” link has a simple reason: …/dispatches/dispatches/… (it works with only one dispatches).
The search via WordPress works, but it doesn’t via Google. For some reason the Google search bot doesn’t visit anything but the main page of FTB. (Maybe robots.txt, this could be tested with Google Webmaster Tools.)
