I heard great things about this on twitter while he was speaking. Very nearly teared up at the end, watching it.
Embedding has been disabled for this video, but watch it here, on youtube.
EDIT–Commenter Articulett points us to a very nice video of part of Tim Minchin’s performance.
Also via Articulett, Nate Phelps’s speech. Still listening to it, myself.

Anyone bitching about the Reason Rally being “pointless” or “too negative” needs to watch this.
As inspiring a rally call as I’ve ever heard.

They were all good, but Adam was one of the really good ones. I’ve always liked him, but now I like him even more.

I found a great link on youtube of a Tim Minchin song from the rally that I caught from a midohio atheist u-stream this morning: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrKDCYCghoc

While cool, it’s kind of.. stating the obvious. Grass is green, sky is blue, facts are facts. In a sense it’s silly stating the obvious gets applauded. But as Orwell said (googled it, I admit) during times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.
