The More Things Change…(Cranston Edition)

I am very much impressed by the Providence Journal videographer. Yesterday, it was a sympathetic portrait of the pro-banner side; today, footage from last night’s meeting, featuring Ellery Schempp, who fought essentially the same battle Jessica Ahlquist fought, but back in 1963.

    Ibis3, Let's burn some bridges

It’s funny how intensely interested they all are about appealing the banner decision, but don’t give a shit at all about the budget. Talk about having their priorities backwards.

In “Up the Organization,” Robert Townsend noted that interest in an issue at meetings tends to vary inversely with the cost. The higher the expense involved, the less heated the debate.

Well, the bad guys have achieved one of their aims, it seems. Jessica’s taking a break from school.

What’s worse, Randomfactor, is that the commenters are crediting her break to her inability to do her work, rather than on the shameful behavior of her classmates.
