It’s out of this world! And so very nice,
In the barrens of Mars, to have dug up some ice!
My prediction today? That intrepid explorers
Will soon find the signs of some Naked Ice Borers!

I once knew some Naked Ice Borers.Their heads were repulsive-ish horrors. They sneaked up on penguins,And made silly pasquins…And sucked down unwary explorers. So never trust spacey transmitters,Who think they have found stuff that glitters. It might be quite ice-ish, Or salt-ish or spice-ish,Or Dawkins-ish posers on Twitters.

I am no taxonomist, but I strongly suspect they are related to drop bears, and perhaps jackalopes.
