“Faith Killing”

You know, I’m tired hearing of these blood-boiling cases of children dying because of their parents influencing them to substitute prayer for medicine.  Here’s the latest such murder to make the news, via Mojoey)  I’m also tired of the term “faith healing” to describe these events.  I suggest we call it what it really is: faith killing.

Excellent point. As someone who grew up in Faith Assembly, a faith healing cult in IN led by Hobart E. Freeman, as I child, I heard of many of the 100+ deaths of people that ‘did not have enough faith.’

I have a section of my blog dedicated to this, and hope to write a book about it some day.
