Ideal for various physical activities

I got another fun piece of email! I’m in luck these days. It came in via the Contact Form, so it’s from someone (or somebot) who trawled for B&W specifically, as a suitable market.

To whom it may concern,

We specialise in modest P.E kit for Muslim school girls. Our sportswear is ideal for various physical activities such as swimming, aerobics and gymnastics. We currently supply 3 schools in the UK and are growing rapidly due to demand.

We would like to become your uniform supplier in order to encourage participation in P.E without religious boundaries.

I look forward to your response.

Kind regards

Well spotted! I’m just the person to invite to buy modest P.E kit for Muslim school girls. Got any cut-price crucifixes while you’re at it?

I have no doubt other religious fundamentalists would be interested in the PE wear. The Jews who spit at young girls for wearing sleeveless dresses would definitely be in the market for modest PE kits.

I am surprised that they invited you, Ruiner of Everything. Maybe they think their uniforms are indestructible.

It took me a second to realize PE=physical education. I was thinking Public Enemy, and then wondering what made Professor Griff a fashion icon for young Muslims.

That aquamodesta suit wouldn’t be so bad for swimming if it didn’t have a skirt. I live in the sunbelt and have sought a suit that would provide sun protection for open air lap swimming. They are available for children, but they wouldn’t be “modest” (gender reinforcing) without the skirt because they reveal body shape. I swim (indoors) in a modestly cut tank suit, but I suppose to the Orthodox it would make me look like Miley Cyrus.

I teach Yoga at Senior Center and one of my students asked if her visiting granddaughters could attend the class. They came in those kosher casual pants.

oh. I mentally connected to some other spam and thought P.E. = p*n*s enhancement, especially wrt the “growing” part. This left me rather nonplussed at first, especially considering the target market.

ah. What was the question, again? And what was that about ponies?
