Feminazis stole my ice cream!

Scott Benson’s (no relation) But I’m a Nice Guy

A quick editorial cartoon about the intersection of self-pity, entitlement, rape, territoriality, misogyny and fear of women. You see it all over the place online in the form of Men’s Rights Activists (of whom there are a few reasonable non-misogynists), Men Going Their Own Way, Pick Up Artists, and dudes touting the “Red Pill”, because The Matrix is a good movie. Look any of these up if you have the stomach for it. These are extreme examples, but watered-down forms of these ideas are everywhere.

In lurking their blogs and youtube channels for a while, I’ve noticed that beyond the standard patriarchal chauvinism there is this deep fear of women – what they will do to me, how they will reject me, how they will use me, how they are changing society in a way that does not favor me, how they are making men into something I don’t like, how they are making themselves into something I don’t like, that they won’t give me what I want, and that they won’t give me what I think is rightfully mine. This goes beyond fear of feminism- this is fear of women at its purest. And that, to quote a puppet, leads to anger and hate. It’s sad.

I am a feminist. I think there’s enough ice cream to go around, but it does mean those of us with 3 scoops might have to give one or two up. Also, The Matrix is a fun movie but probably not anything you should be basing a philosophy on.

So that’s why Glendon Mellow tagged both of us yesterday! Bensons. Go Bensons.

I don’t think their love of “The Matrix” is a coincidence. I’ve noticed in my debates with MRAs that they tend to buy into conspiracy theory thinking. They picture a group of women, cackling away in some secret lair as they manipulate all of society into doing their bidding. Evidence against that view was planted or distorted by this group, or sympathizers of them, and those few scraps which support it are evidence of the grand scale of the conspiracy. They, the lucky few who are smart enough to see through this facade, are thus freedom fighters who see the world as it truly is, and are destined for greater things than us sheeple.

    Red pill, indeed.

The tumblr post of his is also very good, great justification for not having comments turned on in that video. Would really wind up the “dialogue” crowd as every good atheist-sceptic knows you can only properly “disagree” by metaphorically shouting in your opponents face. Reasoned argument in your own space is useless without the visceral thrill of sticking it to them in a debate.

    Yay Bensons!

That’s not the only reason I tagged you both though. It was also because the two of you tend to have the sharpest wits of almost anyone I know. Scott’s animation was like worlds colliding on my Twitter.

The Matrix is a good movie

    I see the mistake!!!! ^^

The Matrix had a bunch of cool special effects, but it was not a good movie. There are no interesting characters; they’re all cardboard cut-outs (maybe that’s why the MRAs like them) even the male characters. The acting is minimal because the characters are so 2-dimensional. The plot is… Uh, what plot? I heard some idiot talking about there being a guiding philosophy behind The Matrix but as far as I can tell it’s “desaturated lighting, ground-breaking special effects and explosions.”

When there are good movies (like: anything made by Stanley Kubrick) out there, it’s pathetic to mistake The Matrix for an actual good movie.

And thus they are distracted from even considering the Homosexual Agenda.

I like the Sinfest Matrix bit because whether or not you like The Matrix or think it’s a good or bad movie, it’s not The Matrix or its creators’ fault that MRAs have glommed onto it, and criticizing the film as a response to the MRAs usage of it is letting them own it. I prefer the Sinfest response because it shows that even if you don’t like the movie, the metaphor it yields fits how the patriarchy works a lot better than any MRA fantasies, and does so with actual ideas we all know and see every day.

That’s not the conspiracy at all. Clearly it’s government that’s plotting to emancipate women because that will obviously and necessarily emasculate men and keep them in their place. Ordinary women are no more complicit in this conspiracy than are ordinary men (likely because the poor little things wouldn’t be capable of taking over the world). Bloggers (OK, only FtB) are the tools of government (whether they know it or not), gradually using their vast powers to ban dissenting views from the Internet.

They’re actually right about the secret lair and a secret conspiracy, because you see, PZ Myers is actually a cult leader in the Illuminati Reptile agenda to enslave MRA’s, and, as we speak, in the top secret underground bunker that projects the holograms that make up PZ’s presumed physical essence, hard work is being done on a telepathic device that will communicate with all MRA’s who’ve been chipped from birth, prepared for just such a device, without even knowing!!

*throws her head back and lets out a murderously evil, tyrannical, feminazi cackle and makes an MRA slave chained at her feet lick her flats. /muahahahhahahaahh!!! *cracks the whip and zaps a button that activates the MRA’s chip, making him squeal in pain!! THE ONE WORLD ILLUMINATI AGENDA SHALL PROCEED! 😀

    Hahahahaha – I want that on a T shirt.

That would make an excellent T-shirt slogan, it so would! =~) Hmmm, that sounds like a project maybe, I can’t promise anything though…. :+)

I’m glad you got a good laugh though my humor is my gift to you <3

Ugh , grammar, that sentence should have read “I’m glad you got a good laugh though, <–comma, my humor is my gift to you <3

God I am so exhausted, I am going to lay down and sleep ^.^

Also, to be honest, I LOOOVE the matrix movies, and Lana Wachoswki too, but it’s so hilariously awful the way the MRA’s use the matrix and the red pill thing. I’ve….mindf*cked them (MRA’s) very well…I won’t say how here though 😛

OPERATION RED ***** is classified pop soda! 😛

Also, here is a movie of the shapeshifting PZ/Ophelia Super Cthulu Devil Spawn Illuminati Reptile Badass taking on an Army of MRA’s!!! Now, I know, depending on your perspective, this video clip is supposed to show tighty whitey with no sense of fashion, or, from the other perspective, a righteous MRA resisting the evil tentacle influence of His Holiness Pope PZ, (may his statues be glorious forever!), but, in reality it is really PZ Ophelia, and they are really one shapeshifting Reptile, plotting and planning to enslave the righteous MRA’s under their evil Sirius feminazi boot! Enjoy 😀
