Ah, yes, well, bridges. My difficulty is that having read something of what James Croft wrote fairly recently, I am not at all sure that I like his idea of what a bridge should be. I will try to find what it was and read it again, but my impression was that he would like me to head in a direction in which I really really really do not wish to go, and that (from his point of view) my direction would be a very bad thing, whereas (from my point of view) my direction would be what it’s all about.
