I once took a survey that basically said my ideal job would be working for a thinktank.
I think I would love that kind of work, but I don’t have the requisite experience to even know where to begin, and I don’t have the time to volunteer much, which would be how to get started down that road.
I’ve worked (volunteered and served on the BoD) of Kansas Citizens for Science, but that’s as close as I ever got, and I was not terribly involved in many of their big political issues.
But damn, I think I would like to do that kind of work.
