I saw The Kentucky Fried Movie back in college before I was involved in the skeptical movement. I should really re-watch this whole movie with my shiny, snarky, skepticism glasses because I don’t remember it being this funny.

That was fantastic.
I never heard of this film before, but I’ll have to check it out.

That whole movie is a classic. You might want to watch Bruce Lee’s “Enter the Dragon” before you watch KFM, though. It will make the parody at the end even funnier.
Oh, and “Catholic High School Girls in Trouble”…. ’nuff said.

Wow, it’s been years since I’ve seen KFM.
I remember the Rex Kramer Danger Seeker skit and another one where some announcer says something along the lines of “Finally, a program with the guts to tell the truth about masturbation” and some terrified geeky eye glass wearing teenage boy bursts out of a toilet stall with hair on his hands.

Kentucky Fried Movie & Amazon Women On The Moon are 2 of the best films of the era, they both have a rather similar sketch comedy style so if you like one, you’ll probably like the other

I found Amazon Women On The Moon to be very uneven, but the Son of the Invisible Man sketch is hilarious.
