…what the hell is the deal with religious zanies getting naked in public and making spectacles of themselves? I miss the old days, when loons were just a little fashion-conscious and at least put some effort into sandwich boards and tinfoil hats.

It’s camouflage. The sandwich board and tinfoil hat were dead give aways and people could quickly realize that they’re not worth listening to. Now they’re all naked and raving because they think that’s how everyone in a secular culture acts. Ultimately, they’re just trying to blend in so their ideas can get distributed but, as you pointed out in your previous post, their ideas are askewed and it never occurs to them that they might be wrong.

Maybe they think they are prelapsarian and no longer feel ashamed of their nakedness?
We should test this hypothesis and have Ray Comfort if they have ever told a lie. If they say no, hypothesis confirmed.
